Today is 5 Kislev, 5777. Kerry met with Bibi to condemn the ongoing settlement building. In his four years as Secretary of State, Kerry has held 375 public conversations with Netanyahu in efforts to facilitate the brokering of a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians (falsely so-called). He made 40 in-person visits and spent more than 130 hours in conversations meant to slow the progress of the building. (1)
5 in the Bible, signifies God’s grace.
The Exodus instructions for the dimensions of the wilderness tabernacle is a veritable feast of fives. There were five basic types of acceptable sacrifices set forth in Leviticus: Burnt offering, sin offering, trespass offering, grain offering and peace-offering. Nebuchadnezzar’s dream statue represented 5 ruling empires of human government that man would have after rejecting direct leadership of God and falling into sin. God gave the Pentateuch first of the Old Testament, and the four gospels plus Acts are considered the “Pentateuch of the New Testament”. (2)
Kislev is the 9th month on the Hebrew calendar, and is a month of darkness (shorter days) but also of dreams (Torah reading portion covers Joseph’s life and prophetic dreams) and the meaning of the word Kislev itself, is that of hope and trust. (3)
7, in scripture, has to do with completion and perfection, and is a very prominent number in the Bible, appearing 860 times, including the forms “seven-fold” and “seventh”. More instances of 7 appear in Revelation than any other book of the Bible at 54 occurrences. There are 7 Holy Feast Days set aside for Israel to observe, Jesus did 7 Sabbath-day miracles, 7 days of the week, of course, and 7 churches, 7 angels, 7 trumpets, 7 seals, seven thunders, 7 plagues, in Revelation.(4)
In creation, God set a pattern of seven days for the week, and six days were for work, then there came a sabbath day. God applied that same pattern to weeks of years, seven-year cycles in which He instructed the children of Israel to plant and harvest, and then on the seventh year, they were to allow the land to “rest”. Financially they also were instructed to release all debt upon the seventh year.
“And the LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 ‘Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: “When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to the LORD. 3 Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; 4 but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the LORD. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.’ 8 “And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of theJubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound.” Leviticus 25:1-4,8,9.
Several facts will enable us to determine the date God’s people entered Canaan:
1. God’s people entered Canaan 49 years before the first Jubilee. Leviticus 25:1-9.
2. The Exodus was 40 years before God’s people entered Canaan. Numbers 32:13.
3. Jesus died in 31 AD in the middle of the 49-year Jubilee cycle that ran from 6 AD – 55 AD. The Middle of the “seven”
4. Jubilee dates before Christ can be calculated starting in 6AD and repeatedly subtracting 49 years.
Here are the only possible dates for the first Jubilee, for entering Canaan and for the Exodus in this timeframe:
Possible dates The Exodus 40 years before Canaan Entering Canaan 89 years before the Jubilee 49 years before the Jubilee The first Jubilee 1505 BC 1465 BC 1416 BC 1456 BC 1416 BC 1367 BC 1407 BC 1367 BC 1318 BC
Since the Hebrew Calendar and the Gregorian Calander overlap, Biblical years will straddle two modern-day years. That puts us at the 2016-2017 timeframe we are in right now. The Gregorian Calendar came about under Pope Gregory in the latter 1500’s. Before that, Julius Caesar also changed the accepted calendar. When the Bible mentions that the Antichrist will think to change laws and times (Daniel 7:25), the word times (זְמָן) means seasons. (6) Jesus told His disciples that we as Christians don’t know the day or hour of Christ’s return, but we should recognize the “season” ( I Thess. 5 and Matthew 24).
The 70 Jubilees clock began when the children of Israel entered Canaan, the land God had promised them. The 70 Jubilees clock will end when God’s people enter heavenly Canaan, the land God has promised them. From earthly Canaan to heavenly Canaan is 70 Jubilees.(7)
We are definitely seeing an approaching end of the age of grace now.
In this months Eternal Value Review, Wilfred Hahn speculated that the changing of times referred to in Daniel, which the Antichrist will “think to change” will likely be similar to the changes made by the pope and Caesar, only this time around, due to the economic crisis, he will change the length of a week, thereby giving more work days to a week, longer to pay your “month’s” rent, and lowered interest rates, and the intended result being a means of pulling the global economy out of it’s death spiral. Hahn speculates that this will not succeed, but it is likely.
All these things point to the nearness of the end. I couldn’t help but notice in the Kerry article in J-post, those particular digits in today’s date ont he Jewish Calendar. Something to ponder
Will we have had 6,000 years of sin by 2016?
In the year 2016 it will have been 6,039 years since God created Adam and Eve. If they lived in the Garden of Eden for 39 years before they sinned then there will have been exactly 6,000 years of sin on earth by 2016.

The Biblical chronology, including the 70 Jubilee cycles, fits wonderfully and accurately within the timeframe of 6,000 years of sin. (8)
9 is a number of finality, birth, fruit-bearing and the day of clouds and thick darkness. (various sources on Bible numerics).
