Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has unveiled its latest ballistic missile with a range of 2,000 kilometres, capable of reaching much of the Middle East, including Israel. The unveiling came during a military parade on Friday in Tehran.
(The name of the missile is Khorramshahr (Persian: آزادسازی خرمشهر Āzādsāzi-ye Khorramshahr). Khorramshahr was the Iranian recapture of the port city of Khorramshahr from the Iraqis on 24 May 1982 during the Iran–Iraq War. The Iraqis had captured the city early in the war on 26 October 1980.
