  1. Luciferase is what gives fireflies/lightening bugs their glow. Named after Lucifer, obviously, meaning light bearer. While it is something worth pondering, I’m just pointing out it isn’t a new thing. It’s an enzyme found within nature and got its name way before Gates came along.
