Matthew 10:24-45a The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.  It is enough for the disciple that he is as his master, and the servant as his lord.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Luke 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which was our duty to do.

Duty (doot-e) n.: any action required by one’s position. obedience to be shown to one’s parent or authority.

I have been redeemed by a merciful Lord, from slavery unto sin.  Like the servant in Psalm 116:16, I have been set free, but in turn proclaim my willingness to be indentured, out of gratitude, to that same Lord, my Savior.

I am not above my master.  I will not choose my own work or my own way, but seek to do His bidding, and to become like Him.  Whatsoever things that He commandeth me, that will I do.  It is also my duty to meet the needs of others under His care. And when all is said, and all is done, though I hope to hear “well done, thy good and faithful servant, I will only have done that which was my duty, owed to Him who gave His only son, that I might be free.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16  If the Son therefore shall make you free, then ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Revelation 22:1-3 And He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  And there shall be no more curse; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him.
