Hey Spring!

The breeze is turning warm now and my thoughts turn to the mountains and childhood play with cousins by the creek.

As the last snowdrift melts and buds begin to burst, anticipation fills my heart as it’s stirred from winter sleep.

The dullness that had settled in with winters atmosphere drifts away on fluffy clouds and all gloom soon disappears.

Welcome back warm weather, flowers, butterflies and even bees!  All the earth is now rejoicing with each sunrise that it sees.

Childrens’ happy voices drift in through the open window, curtains rustle as the breeze blows through the screen.

And all that I keep thinking is how glad I’ll be to see you, as I wake up from my wintertime daydream.
