Hour hand, minute hand, now the second hand

On Tish B’av a significantly sized group of Jews stormed the Al Aqsa. That is a BIG deal that nobody is really talking about. The Temple Mount status quo is shifting. The Jews are starting to really challenge the restrictions.

Another perfect red heiffer has been born (although, I think the “practice” sacrifice last year may technically have provided the needed ashes for consecrating a new temple. The Noahide movement is gaining momentum. Some think it is nothing. I think at the very least it is the start of something that will grow into a broader final form in the tribulation. It will be interesting in November, to see how much more the world has changed by then. Most people don’t seem to grasp what this war has already done in terms of global oil supply. But in their defence, most people are doing all they can to get by, already. As the call for the temple becomes more strident, like anything else having to do with the Jewish people, the entire world will feel their opinions must be expressed about it, from lofty heads of state, to obscure content creators.

I think “the second hand” may be making it’s last sweep.  On God’s clock, we may not be in last days, but the last (singular) “God-day”, ie the figurative final “86,400” seconds. In terms of the “day=1000 years with God” formula, appx 4.22 of our days = 1 “God second”. Taking 99 of our days and dividing by 4.22 = 23.46 “God seconds” (As of today, there are 99 days until that Noahide Congress meets, and signs an “everlasting” covenant). I’d say we are in the final 1/3 of the last “God- minute”!  Am I being silly? You tell me. That Noahide Congress being dismissed as nothing, tells me it’s probably something. 3 Wise men recognized Messiah’s birth. One thief understood Christ was Messiah.

Just an additional thought; God said no man knows the day nor hour. What is the next time-increment in this sequence? Second-minute-hour-day-______? Week! It’s conceivable the Lord would allow, ( if for nothing else but for the sake of the struggling, homeless, elderly and sick, maybe?) weary watchmen to figure out that much. The closer we get to prophetic events, the more we begin to understand. God is gracious. Jesus the God-man knows what strained patience feels like.  What day the covenant is to be signed, we don’t know. We do know it’s the first week of November. In the Thessalonians passage, Paul is addressing believers who have been convinced by false teachers that they’ve missed the rapture (the Christians resurrection aka the first resurrection). 2 Thes 2:3 “That day shall not come except there be a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”. The AC does not become the Son of Perdition until the midpoint. We won’t see that. And whether the falling-away is the apostacy, which has been in progress already, or it’s the rapture, both precede the revealing of the son of man, in that even in the verse, it SAYS the very words “falling away first”. Maybe it’s vague for the same sort of reason the church was a mystery until revealed to Paul. The secret things belong to God, until and unless He reveals them. Whether we go just before it is signed, or see it signed as we are already flying upward, doesn’t matter to me! I think that, too, may only be a matter of seconds.

Play nice!
