  1. Thank you Joy. That’s my plan, just keep on going ’til I can’t go anymore. When I need to, I pull back a little, get refreshed and get back at it. Today has been a day of errands and the post-Christmas clean-up and “put away”, trying to have the house in order as much as possible before hubby starts chemo. We never really know just what may happen next in this world, but God does know, and it will not take Him by surprise. He is bigger than all of it and thank goodness, He has offered to carry our loads for us if we will let Him. I don’t trust our president, but I trust our God. I don’t trust doctors all that much, but I trust our God. I certainly don’t trust my own strength, but I know that HIs strength is made perfect in our weakness. That’s good to know! 🙂

    • Our government has already been able to approve the unbelievable, so now nothing would surprise me. Proposals to change the 22nd Amendment have always died In committee, but, now nothing would surprise me. Since his actions are getting more like those of a dictator, now even an “executive order” wouldn’t surprise me. In the meantime, “Let us not become weary in doing good…do not give up.” Galatians 6:9, (part). “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10. God told us to not forsake the gathering of ourselves together. Sites such as this are definitely a helpful gathering of encouragement and blessings. God Bless You!

  4. So sorry, Joy. Hope those little cherubs cheered you up. At times I, too, wonder if the “ignorance is bliss” crowd doesn’t have the right idea after all. I am sure it’s not the first time someone tried this in America, but in times past it was so unthinkable that it could be immediately dismissed. Now, in these times, not so much. Even if Congress still wouln’t go for it, well, after midterms if enough seats change power, anything could happen. And barring that, there is always the ever-handy “executive order”.

  5. Here I was…sitting here drinking a great cup of coffee and minding my own business. Then I read this. Now I have an upset stomach. Thank-you…so much. Since this is my day to work in the children’s nursery at church I will soon be able to spend time with darling little people and think of more pleasant things. Praise God.
