Today is the first day of the last round of chemotherapy infusions for Hubby Garrett!
We praise God for His provision and care through this time. You can imagine the relief we feel in finally reaching this last round. Though it did hit me the other day that beyond the last round, there comes the need for continuous follow-up, another surgery to remove the infusion port, CAT-scans to check and make sure there is no recurrence, etc. In other words, Garrett has now joined me in one of the inevitable realities of middle age and beyond that has now become permanent: that is, doctors, tests, medications, etc. The perils of aging in a fallen world. Praise God we look forward to a day when those things will “be no more”.

speak for yourself on the getting old part, the follow ups, cat scans and such are suggestions many of which only serve to improve the health of the Dr.s wallet. They say the cancer is gone and I believe it,so I;ll see my GP regularly and if I start noticing symptoms I’ll call the Dr, but until then I plan on trusting God, working to get stronger and in short trying to get my old life back so I can be the man my beautiful wife needs me to be, WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT!!

Good for you Garrett! As much as I can I stay away from doctors and hospitals. the last time I was in one was 7 years ago and before that 40 years for an appendectomy. I am 70 years old and hope to see the Lord before I die. I wish you good health and a prompt recuperation. God bless the Lloyd family.
