What’s shakin?

The six minor earthquakes in three days this past week in Israel are probably the most significant thing in recent news, particularly when coupled with the “out of the blue” statement put out by Hamas October 13th, advising Israel that if anything were to happen to the Al Aqsa Mosque, there’d be hell to pay!

I find that interesting because the Mosque will be destroyed at some point in order for the rebuilt Temple to take its rightful place atop Mt. Moriah.

It’s almost like God reached down and gave the area a few good rattling jolts just to say “whatcha gonna do, Hamas, huh?”

There will be more quakes in Israel, the most notable of which will cleave the Temple Mount in two when Jesus Christ returns in all His Glory!

Series of minor quakes can mean a couple of things.  It can be a precursor to the biggie, or they can serve to relieve pressure on a fault line.  I think it’s a safe bet in this case, that this is a build up!  No matter what is happening elsewhere in the world, if you really want to know how far gone this world is, just watch Israel.

Speaking of how far gone…..

My friend Snerd sent me this today under the caption:

“Yep, it’s the end of the world!”

yep, it's the end of the world

We had our pastor and his wife over for supper last night.  I made my Yummy Nutty Pumpkin Squash soup (my own original recipe) and hearty spinach salad with chickpeas, pecans, dried cranberries, and yummy warm rolls for dipping in the soup!

Get in touch via the Contact ST Lloyd form if you’d like the recipes! (The rolls were store-bought) The whole meal is soooo easy-peasy to throw together, so I enjoyed putting out nice place-settings and decorating the table for Fall.  Should have taken a picture!  Which reminds me, I need to install the driver for my camera on this computer.

I have time for things like that now that I’m not blogging 25 hours a day, lol!
