Perplexity, confusion and chaos!

For some years now, I have been lamenting the fact that communication as a whole seems to be deteriorating.  What is being said, is not being heard.  The cacophony rises into a cloud of noise, a roaring murmur.  It is impossible to focus in on one voice.  There is never only one voice; it’s always chatter, cross-talk, shout-down.  Like calling Sears (yes, I’m nearly fifty) to place an order, and having to hear a couple of hundred other Customer Service Representatives in the background.  My hat is off to anyone who works in a call center.   I couldn’t take it!

What has happened to communication?  How is it possible to say one thing, and the person you are addressing hears something completely different from what was actually stated?  I think that the human race may have just about reached the point where the incoming data is simply too voluminous for the data processer (the human brain), or maybe it’s just mine.

That’s a fine state of affairs.  Tower of Babel wasn’t even necessary this time around!

Rebellion against God, leads to disintegration.   He is the Power which holds all things together!

I remember sometime back in my school days, some science teacher saying that all sounds, as waves, continue to emanate out through the universe, so somewhere every word we say is still “ringing” technically.  I wouldn’t put that past God.  He won’t have to remind us of the words, He’ll just retrieve them from wherever they are, and direct them back at us.

Right now the “World Powers” are meeting in Geneva to try and hash out a “deal” with Iran on their Nuclear ambitions.  As you can imagine, I’m following this with great interest, and one article that I read this morning gave a quote which seems to illustrate my point on communication quite aptly.  Here’s the quote:

” According to David Fromkin’s masterful study ‘A Peace to End All Peace,’ Sykes said of his strategy meetings with Lord Kitchener to plan policy: ‘I could never make myself understood; I could never understand what he thought, and he could never understand what I thought.’”(source) (Italics mine.)

Yep, that about sums it up!  I can imagine this is a little of what Benjamin Netanyahu feels like when he sits in a room with John Kerry.  Which is probably a little like how a psychiatrist feels when he sits in a room with someone who is full-blown psychotic.

This is what happens when dealing in lies.  Even those who are spinning the lies forget what is true and what’s a fabrication.  I suppose that is how they can be so convincing.

Mankind believes himself to be wise.  But scripture says wisdom comes only from above.  Man’s wisdom is foolishness.  And this world we live in proves that point in living color and high definition every day of the week.

Thank God there is a day coming, when Jesus will reign, the Kingdom of Heaven will come, and His will shall be done here on Earth as it is in heaven.  As a parent, don’t you just wish, sometimes, that your kids didn’t always see the need to test the boundaries.  Haven’t you ever asked, “why can’t you just do what I ask you to do”?  I’m sure our Heavenly Father feels that way, only we are not cute little kids who have only to bat our eyes and look adorable.  It is adults who are causing all the wars and strife in this world.  Yes, America is weary of war, but isn’t it ironic that the ultimate line that got drawn, the one place in all this world that America is now choosing to “remain neutral” is in the case of our best and longest-standing ally Israel?  Wow!

Not a surprise, though, to those who read the Bible.  All part of the unfolding master plan.

Now, if I had my “druthers” my bumper sticker would say “Benjamin Netanyahu for president”.  After all, we have done away with that whole “must be a U.S. Citizen” clause, right?

Pastor James Manning says he believes Obama will be assassinated by the C.I.A.  What? And leave crazy uncle Joe the court jester in charge?

I think I like MoonBattery.com!  In fact, I think I’ll spend the day at MoonBattery.com

I especially liked the post about the ObamaCare success story wherein one Colorado Health Exchange has enrolled a fourteen year-old named Baxter. Talk about inclusive! Can’t discriminate based on the number of legs a fellow has, now can we?

Ha!

Confusion!

Chaos!

Perplexity!

May as well have fun with it!

(Don’t judge me! I’ve had a rough weekend and it’s only Saturday morning.)
