If this world ever cried out with one unified voice demanding peace and justice for all, it is happening now.  Here in America, where we have been blessed beyond measure, most of us are still going on “as usual”.  People for the most part, are trying not to notice.  But this is a cry that began long ago, and has continued to rise ever since.  A world that has long since rejected God, has created a cesspool of existence for itself, where a few benefit from the work of many, and the same ones who have reveled in the plenty, can no longer pretend that all is well.

This voice that is crying out, is like a wounded animal.  It may not understand the dynamics of Wall Street.  It may not be sophisticated and wear the latest fashion.  It may not even be what many would refer to as “a contributing member of society” but it’s not because it is anti-civility, but on the contrary, it has felt the pain of being “the other” and it does not care to feel it anymore.  Something has gone wrong, and this sector is not prepared to stand for it any longer.  The cry is “enough!”  Stop with the wars!  Stop with the greed!  We are human beings and we are not less than you!  We can make the world a better place!

And they do not even realize that they are merely repeating the cycle.

Man has no answers.

This cry for peace, rising up on a global scale, may be “anonymous” but the distinguishing characteristic is that it is no longer a spotty, here-a-little, there-a-little phenomenon.  No!  It is not just anonymous, but rather it is becoming UNANAMOUS!

Just as the Bible said that it would.  People crying for Peace and for Safety.  They are fed up with the hunger, the struggle, and the suffering.  Yet they don’t even realize that they are crying out to their own oppressors!  Looking to the very ones who created this mess, to end it!

It cannot be accomplished.  The answer is not in rising up, it is in falling to your knees, crying out not to other men, but to your Creator!  Turn your eyes to Him!  Raise your voice to HIM!

But no, the world isn’t interested.  They believe the lie that says “we have tried God, and He has failed us”.  But the truth is not that they have tried God, it’s that they have been told by others, that He doesn’t care, and they have believed it without checking it out for themselves.   If you want to wake up, world, wake up to that!  You have not “tried” God.  You have rejected Him out of hand.

He who spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all!

You cry for justice?  You cry for Peace?

Jesus is the Prince of Peace.  He came before, and He is coming again, but while you are busy crying to your “oppressors”, you ignore the One at the top of the “chain of command” when He has made Himself available to your appeal, HE is not without sympathy for your plight.

You want to talk about freedom fighters and revolutionaries?  They are the blind, leading the blind.  They offer you only more of the same.

It is not rising up, that needs to happen.  It is falling down upon your knees, remembering, yes, that you are human.  You don’t need others to recognize that, you need to recognize it yourself. What does being human mean?  It is frailty.  It is dependence upon One who is Greater than yourself!

It is being a helpless child who needs a Father’s love and guidance.

The answer is not in putting on a Guy Fawkes mask and marching so the world stands up and takes notice.  What can this world give to you or anyone, that can be any better than what already is?  All roads here lead to the same.  There IS nothing new under the sun.  You must look beyond the sun, to the One who ordained the sun and set it in its place, and made it give its life-giving light and warmth.

You are aiming “higher” and “nobler” but not setting your sights on anything that can make a difference.  You sit in the sewage decrying the squalor and stink, and cry out to others who are merely in a different part of the cesspool.  Sure they have erected monuments, great gleaming cities and fortresses that rise up into the rarefied air, yet at their foundation, they, too are in the cesspool with you.

There is only One hope.  Christ came to deliver you from this cesspool.  It is not the product of those “privileged” few alone.  You have contributed to it yourself, but you don’t see it.  You are them.  What you want is what they have.  Begin to have it, and the next thing you know, yes, you and everyone else down in that downtrodden area, you too, can have your gleaming cities, your “plenty”, but you will be no better off.  THEY are not better off.  They are merely further along the continuum of “having”.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, the meek shall inherit the Earth.  You cry out against the “haves” and classify yourself among the “have-nots” and yet you want to trade places?  Their lot is not liberty! NO!  It is merely another, more wretched form of slavery.  One that can never be escaped.  Turn back!  Turn around!  You are going the WRONG Way!  That “promising future” and “better tomorrow” they boast about, is just a mirage!  A figment of their collective imagination.  And you demand your fair portion of it?

God will laugh them to scorn.  God will have them in derision!  They who stripped you, starved you, deprived you, did so  in order to wear you down and make your longing for their place complete.  Misery loves company, and that is the little-known secret of their shiny life.  It is misery and futility, and they will die in their wretchedness and spend eternity with their father the devil, but you, you still stand a chance!  Go back.  Not forward.  Go BACK!

Back to the old paths.  Back to seeking God.  The answer is there!

Jesus is coming again.  HE will establish peace and HE will implement safety, but if your heart remains set on what they have, you will no more enter into that peace and that safety than you have already.  It will remain eternally outside your grasp.  And you will know that you missed it.  You will know, then, that what is said here is true.

God created man, man rebelled against God, man set out to prove his own wisdom and power, but the fact still remains that man has no real wisdom and certainly no power, and apart from the inheritance which Christ has offered to share with you and me, there is no peace to be had.

For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   He is Emmanuel, God-with us! That is what we celebrate at Christmas.  Not the gluttony and the excess.  Christ!  The Savior of the World!  Our Deliverer! Messiah has come, and He’s coming again.  Soon!  If you are not for Him, you are against Him, and that places you right in league with those you profess to disdain; Every pleasure-seeking self-promoting, gluttonous privileged one of them!  They are basing their entire lives on a delusion.

And you cry because you yourself, are not fortunate enough to share it. You don’t seek something noble.  You seek the liberty and freedom from bands of restraint and morality that has made them what they are.  You say you are better than them, when really you are only envious that you have not been allowed to be as depraved and uninhibited as they are.  You lust after the same thing! You accuse them of violating you, of taking what they want and hoarding it all for themselves, when really it just eats you up that they have gotten away with it and you have not found a way to do so yourself.  But you’re going to change that, aren’t you, “Anonymous”?
