Did you catch that?  The word “prepare” flashing behind the adorable little kids singing around center stage as Bruno Mars sang “Billionaire”.

Prepare.  We hear a lot about preparing these days.  Despite the fact that the word “prepare” is in the song lyrics, call me crazy, but I am thinking since there was no little bouncing ball, it wasn’t put up there for the purpose of singing along.  In fact, the absence of any of the other lyrics has a tendency to make the choice of that one particular word a little conspicuous.  Like a message of some sort, huh?

What could it mean?

I will tell you what I think this is about.  As always, hey, this is just little old me.  But as I mentioned yesterday, there is a particular characteristic, or I should say, lust, which will lead Gog and the Magog coalition to invade Israel, and that is greed!  As Wilfred Hahn pointed out in the Eternal Value Review I shared with you yesterday, greed, the pursuit of wealth, riches, will be so all-prevalent in the final hours of the Age of Grace and going into the first years of the tribulation, it will be the foremost intent of the hearts of men. Now, I personally feel like that is already the case, but then I am a person who has never dealt with large sums of money, not in a physical sense, and not even in a theoretical sense.  Hahn, who specializes in economics from a Biblical perspective, does not believe the world has quite reached that stage yet, and says that the utter collapse which brings on the transition to a single global currency, will not take place until the tribulation is under way.

I think that this “prepare” message, in conjunction with “I want to be a Billionaire” could be a “subtle sign” that this is what the antichrist spirit will focus on accomplishing next, stirring up greed to the greatest extent it has ever existed among men.  Satan is not omniscient, but he does have “agents” in many places.  Do you doubt that leading economists in this world know things they are not telling us?  I don’t. doubt that.  Something is afoot.  You have to keep in mind that the NWO globalists have an agenda, and they believe that certain actions on certain dates, associated with specific numbers, can serve to invoke powers from their god.

We (Christians) don’t draw our signs and cues from these types of “warnings”.  Our understanding and our assessment of the lateness of the hour we are living in comes from scripture, but we do view these as markers of the culture’s descent into utmost moral decay.  My own conclusion that these things are in the very near future is based on broad awareness of economic, social, spiritual, and geopolitical goings on in the world, and how that “tracks” with the conditions the Bible tells us will be as our redemption draws near.

I don’t look for financial devastation.  I don’t have a basement full of beans and ammo and guns and medical supplies that I am depending on to see me through some “vague and as yet unknown” future catastrophic event that will alter life as we know it.  The events are coming.  We don’t have to guess. They will alter “life as we know it.  The Bible says so!  But no amount of physical preparation will carry us unscathed through it.  There is a different preparation that has to take place.

The one and only way to prepare is by repenting before a Holy God, and asking Him to save your soul.

In the modern church, little is spoken of fearing God, and those who are trying to warn others that there is a hell to be avoided, and that there is an outpouring of wrath that God has promised, are often mocked, ridiculed, and dismissed. (I count myself among them).  Yet we have a job to do.  You do not have to listen, you do not have to hear.  But we will warn you, nonetheless.

The end truly is very near.  Repent!  All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.

Islam worships another god. Catholicism has lied about Mary and the power of other saints and of the popes.  There is no purgatory.  New Age and humanism that tells you mankind will achieve Nirvana or world peace and perfect enlightenment, none of that is true.  These are all calculated by the father of lies (Satan) to keep you from knowing the truth.  We are sinners standing guilty before the Judge.  There is this life, then at the end of every life is death, then comes judgment.  Heaven, or Hell.  No reincarnation, no second chances.

Whosoever calleth on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.  He that believeth not is condemned already.

God created man, man sinned and sin separates man from God.  The wages of sin is death.  Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.  Jesus came, in the form of a man, never sinned, and shed His blood, dying on the cross, to sustain your “death sentence” in your place, to purchase your soul from certain death, but His sacrifice will go unclaimed in your instance, unless you understand that your sinful condition is terminal, and renounce sin, repent, turn away from wickedness and the way “that seems right unto man” but only leads to death.  The truth is, every person dies, and after that they face God in judgment.  You can either face Him with all your sins atoned for by the sacrifice Christ made for you, or you can face God without your sins atoned for, and proceed to hell to serve your own sentence.  God doesn’t send anyone to hell.  You don’t have to go there.  All you have to do is take God up on His offer of salvation.  He wants to redeem you.  He is the one who made you, and yet he has lost you due to sin, and He loves you so much that He sacrificed HIs own son, to buy your pardon.  Whatever your sin is, repent of it. Admit you are a sinner.  You’ve lied, you’ve stolen something, you’ve lusted after someone, you may have done worse than that.  Does not matter! There  is no sin too great for God to forgive.  He wants to save you.

Ask Him to.  If you don’t understand these things, then simply talk to God in your heart and tell Him that you want to understand them, but He says in His Word that one need only have the simple faith of a child in order to receive salvation.  Simply believe Jesus is the Son of God, who never sinned, that He came here as Messiah to be the Savior to all of mankind, ask that His atoning work done on the cross of Calvary be applied to your record of sin, and God will gladly blot out those sins if you are sincere.  Recognize Jesus.  Call upon Him to save you today.  Very soon I believe it will be too late.  Those who have taken up this offer and in obedience have done what God tells us is required for salvation, will all be leaving this Earth soon.  A “train wreck” is in the works.  It is going to happen.  It will be a time unlike any of the worst times in history of the world.  Worse than the Holocaust.  Worse than Pearl Harbor.  Worse than all of the Wars and exterminations and worst natural disasters combined.

The call for world peace, for an end to poverty and suffering, those desires are in us because we were not created to live this way.  We have an inward consciousness that we were made for more and that there has to be something better, because there is, and we were.  But that can’t be restored in us as long as sin remains a living in us like a virus.  Some day God will purge this Earth, all of creation.  Man will not do it.

Please call upon the Lord today.  I understand you might have gone to church and someone there hurt you, or disappointed you.  I understand that you might not like to think about all of this “end times” stuff, and that people have been talking about it for many decades now, but the truth is, an end is going to come.  Your end is going to come.  You will either die eventually, one way or another, but if as I believe, this tribulation comes soon, you do not want to remain to go through the tribulation period.  I write this for you because God cares. If you think He doesn’t care, have you read the Bible?  You are reading this because God cares about you. It is not a coincidence.

We don’t have to “find God”, because He is not lost. All we, like sheep have gone astray.  We have turned, every one, to his own way, but the Lord hath laid upon Him the iniquity of us all.  We are lost, but He knows where you are, and He even knows the exact number of hairs on your head.  Before your mother knew she was carrying you, God had already begun knitting you together in her womb.  He knew what color He had planned your eyes to be.  He knew what you would do right and what you would do wrong and what day your life will come to an end.  He already knows whether you will go to heaven or to hell.  If you ignore this, and decline to take the “life preserver” that could have saved you, then on the day you stand before Him and He says “why should I let you into heaven” what will you have to say for yourself that will impress Him?  All the good we do in this life cannot erase or atone for the bad things. One murder renders a man a murderer, and even if he saves the lives of a dozen other people, he still killed one and can’t make up for that.  Gods standard of good and ours are very different.  God requires perfection and absolute sinless-ness.  We are not capable of that.  That is why Jesus died.  He was innocent, therefore He could do your time in your place, (so to speak).  No one else could take the punishment for you because they have crimes of their own, guilt of their own.  God is not interested in your own efforts to make your way to Him.  A great gulf separates you from Him and it is called sin.  Jesus is the only “bridge”.
