Something big and bad is headed our way

It’s just over the horizon, just beyond the line of sight. Maybe we can make

out a slight discoloration of the sky. As yet, it’s nothing so obvious

as all the water getting sucked out of a bay—a sure sign that a

tsunami’s coming. This is more like the faintest little shiver of

the earth beneath your feet, and the creepy feeling that goes with it.

The world goes through catastrophes. The earth is the Lord’s, and from

time to time He shakes it.

I think we are in for the worst shaking we’ve had since World War II. Signs

abound. To mention just a few of them:

A major bank in Britain—not Cyprus—won’t let customers withdraw

“large sums” of their own money (“large” in the bank’s opinion), unless they have “a good reason”[…]
