Vladmir Putin is arguably one of the richest men in the world, and he is not even close to obtaining all that he hopes to acquire in his lifetime, in both money and power.
- A few tidbits to keep in mind:
At least one third (up to 55% according to Natural Gas Europe) of Europe’s gas is supplied by Gazprom, and routed through Ukraine. Putin has cut that supply off to Europe before! - Putin has been in power for a couple of decades in Russia now (Medvidev was merely a “workaround” to the term limits, which have now been altered leaving room for Putin to remain in office another seven years)
- It is believed that Putin has amassed his fortune via his position of power. One of Putin’s sources of wealth is Gazprom. Putin has control over media in Russia as well.
MOSCOW, Nov 26, 2013 (Reuters) – The Kremlin extended its grip over radio and television broadcasting on Tuesday when the media arm of state-controlled Gazprom bought mining tycoon Vladimir Potanin’s Profmedia. Gazprom owns a 35 percent direct stake in Gazprombank, which in turn owns 100 percent of Gazprom Media. “There is nothing good in the fact that we are seeing the concentration of assets in one hand,” said Elizaveta Osetinskaya, editor in chief of Forbes Russia, a magazine known for investigative journalism. “Seven TV channels and sales of 70 billion roubles? It looks a lot like Mediaset,” added Osetinskaya, drawing comparisons with the media empire owned by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. “With the arrival of Mikhail Lesin, the media landscape is starting to be shut down,” wrote Arina Borodina, a columnist for state-owned news agency RIA Novosti.
Borodina also noted that Kovalchuk, in addition to his indirect stake in Gazprombank, has extensive media interests of his own. His National Media Group owns three Russian TV channels and national newspaper Izvestia.
- Israel discovered massive new gas fields at Tamar one year ago, about thirty miles north of the Leviathan field discovered in 2010! These fields will meet Israel’s gas needs easily for the next 25 years, while also allowing Israel to profit from exports. Initially Gazprom Marketing and Trading had made a 20 year preliminary deal for Gazprom to export liquefied natural gas from these fields. (When Netenyahu went to Russia in November of 2013.
- Russia had offered to “help” develop the Tamar field, and also has made similar efforts to gain access to Israel’s gas discoveries in the form of bailing out failing Cyprus banks in exchange for exploration rights to the gas fields of the Mediterranean Sea.
- Now that Israel has all of that gas to work with, the deal with Putin-I-mean-Gasprom, seems to have fizzled out, and a new company is angling into the prized position. Woodside Petroleum (Australia’s largest independent gas and petroleum company, Peter Coleman-formerly of Exxon Mobil-is at the helm) has just taken a 25 percent stake in the Leviathan development.
- Interestingly, word in the energy world, is that Natural Gas will overtake Coal as the second-most used source of energy in the world within about a decade. And the U.S. is currently in a shale boom, which has enabled us to surpass Russia as a producer of natural gas. So you see, Putin, a dictator with aspirations of global power, is quite threatened these days. Putin’s “glory days” in Sochi were sort of his grandiose “coming out”, if you will!
- The Battle of Ezekiel 38 (Gog/Magog) is probably going to occur before the third Temple will be rebuilt! One reason that this is assumed, is because Ezekiel tells us it will take Israel 7 years to burn the weapons, debris and dead bodies that result from that conflict.
In Ezekiel 38, students of Christian Eschatology know that a leader from the North (in relation to Israel) will lead a coalition of nations against Israel to take a spoil, after God puts hooks in their jaw and leads them to do so.
38 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
You know that Russia, Iran (Persia), and the “stan” nations make up this alliance, and also including Libya and Ethiopia, and Armenia. (and many peoples with you, vs. 15.)
There is a lot of talk about the antichrist coming out of Islam, which case was so well-presented by Walid Shoebat in the video posted here on my blog a couple of weeks back. But are you aware of the Jewish perspective on the Gog/Magog war?
Rabbinical writers also see the events of Gog and Magog as taking place at the “End of day”, when the nations of the world come against Israel to destroy the Jewish people. Gog and Magog is a major part of Jewish eschatology (Last things), in the days of Messiah.
Though the events differ among rabbinical commentators, most write that in the battle of Magog, Messiah son of Joseph[1] is killed by Armilus (the Antichrist) after he rebuilds the Temple. Israel then goes through a period of persecution, which ends with the coming of Messiah son of David, who destroys Armilus and begins the reign of Messiah. Quoting from the Midrash we read.
And when the days of the Messiah arrive, Gog and Magog will come up against the Land of Israel, because they will hear Israel is without a king and sits in safety. Instantly they will take with them seventy-one nations and go up to Jerusalem…And the Holy One, blessed be He, will say to him: “You wicked one! You want to wage war against Me? By your life I will wage war against you!” Instantly the Holy One, blessed be He, will cause hailstones, which are hidden in the firmament, to descend upon him, and will bring upon him a great plague….
And after him will arise another king, wicked and insolent, and he will wage war against Israel for three months, and his name is Armilus….And he will go up to Jerusalem and will slay Messiah ben Joseph…
And thereafter will come Messiah ben David…and he will kill the wicked Armilus…and thereafter the Holy One, blessed be He, will gather all Israel who are dispersed here and there….[2] (Source)
Christians, remember this: Israel is “blind in part”. The Messiah Ben Joseph of the Jews has already come, and already died. (And rose again). But they don’t believe this. We know Him as Jesus. They reject the notion that Jesus was the Messiah, and many even claim He never existed. Non-religious Jews don’t know any of this, of course. Orthodox Jews believe the first Messiah is yet to come. They call him Armilus. Satan Armilus, to be exact. They teach that Yeshu was “born of a virgin, born of a stone”. And that Satan Armilus will be the reincarnation of Yeshu. And by the way, those of you who insist on calling the Messiah “Yeshua” please know that the name “Yeshu” originates from yimakh shemo ימח שמו It is the strongest curse in the Hebrew language, typically pronounced upon any enemy of the Jew. In Hebrew the abbreviation is (יש”ו) y-sh”u[.
In Catholicism, and in Orthodox Judaism (mysticism), you will read very similar stories about Yeshu!
The Catholics teach this stone bears the secret “Ineffable Name” that would give someone “all power” if they were to discover what the name was, and that Yeshu discovered that name and wrote it on parchment, and opened up his thigh and put it inside. He then drew the flesh back over it, gathered followers, and proceeded to proclaim himself the son of God.
No wonder Catholics don’t put much emphasis on Jesus, but rather on the “Holy Mother”.
We have the Orthodox Jews who say Yeshu was born of a stone, and a virgin, and the Antichrist (Amilus) will be a reincarnation of Yeshu, AND that the second Messiah will kill Yeshu at the Ezekiel 38 Gog/Magog battle! They believe Amilus will deceive the whole world to believe he is God, and will work with ten kings.
We have Catholicism that says Yeshu came by his holy power by learning the forbidden and “ineffable name” off of the foundation stone, and deceived many with false signs, and that when the false prophet Yeshu was put to death by “the Sages” with the help of Judah Ischarioto, his followers went out into the world spreading his “false gospel”.
We have the Muslim Dome of the Rock built over that very foundation stone and people who are seriously campaigning to keep the Dome of the Rock as a “foundation stone itself” for a proposed “universal temple for all religions” combining Islam, Christianity and Judaism in one place of worship!!!
So what I am seeing here, is that someone has made a move!!!! Putin. Everyone knows that what is happening in Ukraine is massively significant, but how?
The snafu in Putin’s Hitleresque quest for world-domination, wherein Israel has backed out of the arrangement that would allow Russia to profit from Israel’s gas fields, is the hook. So we are getting some answers.

Iran and Syria are nothing and can do nothing without Putin’s power and financial resources.
We also all know that Catholicism, Islam, and Christianity all will play significant roles in what is coming. But how? Three different belief systems. Only one is right. Only one CAN BE.

It is clear that the Muslim Nations who come against Israel in this great battle, will be decimated by God Himself. I promised readers that I would continue to look into the Walid Shoebat theory of a Muslim Antichrist, as his video is pretty convincing and really makes it sound feasible. I want readers to know that I did find a very solid refutation of Shoebat in an article on Rapture Forums.
The point of the opposing argument rests upon Shoebat’s use of eisegesis,( “to lead into”) as opposed to exegesis (to lead out of) on the scripture. He does essentially the thing that comes natural to man, and approaches the question of the Biblical Antichrist from his own experiences (things he already knows), letting his experience lead his understanding of the scripture, instead of starting with scripture and letting it shed light on his experience, and allowing the text to lead and inform his understanding. We all have to be careful not to do this. It is easy to do if one is not aware of this tendency. As I stated in a comment on Shoebat’s video, I was pretty convinced by his argument.
I guess that is why the Lord was so adamant about being aware of rampant deception in these last days. That’s the tricky thing about deception. It’s not readily recognized as such, and is often spread in ignorance by well-meaning people. The only immunity against the counterfeits is knowing the Word for yourself. Our understanding is dull and when we walk away from it (like a face in a mirror) our impression of what we thought we had nailed down, can suddenly get fuzzy again if we aren’t careful.
I also found some articles that refuted his assertion that he was a terrorist himself prior to being saved. This part I can’t really verify, but now that I have read the Rapture Forums article I can plainly see that Shoebat is forming his conclusions based on what he knows about Islam, when he asserts that the Chi Xi Stigma (666) was actually the symbol for “Bism’Allah” which means “In the name of Allah” HERE is another well-written article that establishes why that is not true. That leap is what the entire Muslim Antichrist Theory was founded upon. Destroy that, and the theory has no leg to stand on.
Well, I hope that this article brings some things together for you. My little pea brain isn’t equipped to process a lot of info like that quickly or efficiently, and so there are probably many out there who had all of this figured out before now, but I have faith that there are many who travel in the slow lane like myself, who will have an “Aha!” moment or two in a few hours from the time they finish reading this, when it all comes together and “registers”.
I will throw in some pure speculation here and simply contemplate the possibility that while all eyes are on Russia and Ukraine, and the sputtering attempts to seal the preliminary agreement in the final hours of the farcical “peace negotiations” with Palestine, that the IDF might just take care of the problem in Syria. Especially now that the war has crossed the border into Lebanon and Beirut.
Now, remember the Keystone Oil Pipeline? How that has been going forward in fits and starts, (phase 1 went online in 2010 in Cushing Oklahoma) and currently is stalled out in the phase that would go through Montana and route on top of the Ogalalla Aquifer in Nebraska?
Well, Cushing Oklahoma is right there in the midst of all that quake activity that’s been taking place of late. Not directly in Cushing, but uncomfortably close, in my opinion. (A Magnitude 5 within 30 miles, thirty-five of them in that vicinity in 2013, including a mag 7.56 in September in Stillwater which is about 15.5 miles “as the crow flies”). They’ve been fracking out there a very long time! Is anyone really surprised about these Earthquakes? But a large part of our U.S. reserve oil supply is stored out there in that area, isn’t it?
So, with Natural gas and the shale boom still not quite ready to peak in the U.S., the pipeline on hold, and with shifting alliances and so much up in the air in the Middle East, America might find ourselves just as desperate for that fuel as Russia and Europe and everyone else who might have their eyes on that “spoil” around the Mediterranean Sea near Israel. Just a thought.

Islam has control of the Temple Mount with the Dome of the Rock. For Israel to rebuild the temple there, Islam, which threatens global Jihad if so much as bird droppings land on the Dome of the Rock, will have to be obliterated, or at least rendered powerless, before the Dome of the Rock can be removed, so that the Temple can be rebuilt, so that the Antichrist can desecrate it. Unless, of course, the Lord Himself takes it down in a massive Earthquake. Even then the Muslims would blame Israel and use it as an excuse for bloodshed.
Things are coming together extremely rapidly now. Oil and gas, banking, wild undulations in the stock market and price of gold up while silver is down, merging religions, the most popular pope in history, entire governments being removed. If 9/11 was a sign of the end of sovereignty of nations, then perhaps Ukraine is the first sign of the soon commencement of Gog/Magog, which will set the stage for the Temple being rebuilt!
Any day now, fellow home-sick saints, I expect to hear that trumpet just any day!
