It seems we are entering into that “death match” phase of the fight for our civil liberties in the U.S. This re-hearing of a case is almost un-heard of. What do you think it portends? Is this battle “nearly over” or have we only just begun to fight back against the most blatant disregard for the U.S. Constitution in our history? And what about persecution of Christians specifically here in the U.S.? I invite you to weigh in with your comments below on this page, after you read this article at the link.–S.T. Lloyd
The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit has decided to review a First Amendment complaint brought by Christians who were assaulted by a rock-throwing Muslim mob at an Arab festival in Dearborn, Michigan.

No one has the right to violently curtail another persons freedom of speech, even if that speech causes offence. But when law enforcement sides with, (in this case Muslims) who are perpetrating the violent stoning of a Christian, simply quoting scripture. Then a big fat ugly appeasing, cowardly line has been crossed. Not only should the law enforcement involved be dismissed from ever being in law enforcement again…EVER. They should also be prosecuted for gross dereliction of duty and endangerment of the right not to be injured or killed by those stone throwing Muslims. I’d feel the same way if it was the Muslims being persecuted. But in reality this is infinitesimally rare.
