17-year old forced by state to undergo chemotherapy TheConservativeTreehouse.com

Think about this case carefully.  Think about all of the ramifications to it.
A 17-year-old cancer patient does not want to undergo chemotherapy.  She asked her mom to support her decision.  After various long-term discussions, Mom agreed that her daughter should have her wishes respected.  The state steps in and says no, the teen must have Chemo.   She is now physically locked inside a Connecticut hospital, having forced treatment against her will.  She cannot leave.  She turns 18 in September this year.
*Additional note – If she wanted to have an abortion, in the same hospital, under the current state laws and rules, she alone could decide and would not need parental approval/notification
