Bionic lenses could not only eliminate the need for prescription glasses and contacts, but also provide super sight. These artificial lenses, which were invented by an optometrist in Canada, do not just restore eyesight, but enhance and optimize vision as well. According to the inventor and developer Gareth Webb, these lenses may enhance human eyesight up to three times optimization more than 20/20, which is the universal standard for normal vision. The Ocumetics Bionic Lens has been in development for more than eight years, and the project has a $3 million price tag to date.
