Bruce “Call Me Caitlin” Jenner gracing the cover of Vanity Fair. I can’t think of a more fitting publication to showcase the vanity of his decision to “morph”. If he had spoken to some folks who had this surgery already, he would have found out that it doesn’t fix what is wrong inside. His big statement was “When this cover comes out, I’m free”. He said Bruce had secrets, Caitlin has no secrets.

Ok. First of all, let me go brush my teeth because, barf!

But of course this will be “celebrated”. Gender confusion happens in children. It is a part of development for a lot of kids. Some just take a while to figure it out. It used to be, that parents would help them along, you know. “Son, you see that little sausage-looking thing down there? That means you are a boy. God made you a boy. So that is what you are”. Now, instead, parents have fallen for the ridiculous notion that telling the child who is in fact a boy, that he is, in fact, a boy, constitutes child abuse.

Can we get a straight jacket over here, please? Because the parents who have fallen for this, are nuts, and they are setting their kids up for pain by NOT addressing the problem when they are young.

God made them male and female. Those are the two genders and you are one or you are the other. Oh, I understand that there are people who feel different “on the inside” from what they are on the outside. I understand that there are people even born hermaphrodites, whether true (born with both testicles and ovaries) or male pseudo (genetically male with the inappropriate or underdeveloped organs), or female pseudo (genetically female, but with the extra appendage). The thing is, though, those are genetic corruptions, a result of living in a fallen (degenerate) world.

The gender confusion is also a result of degeneration, that is, moral degeneration of society as a whole.
So when we are talking about the issue of gender confusion and sexual orientation, there are definitely societal conditions that have played a role in the prevalence of these things. By accepting them and labeling them “normal”, those who find themselves struggling with this confusion, are left without the option of even considering that it actually is not normal. They are cheated of that option. When the truth is traded for a lie, blindness is the result. So one generation chooses the lie, the generations that come afterward don’t get a choice. How many people will live their entire lives trapped in these “alternative” lifestyles never knowing they could be delivered out of them. I’m not talking to anyone who is happy that way. (Like my Dad used to say, as happy as if they had good sense). Ignorance is bliss, and when you have rejected truth in favor of going your own way, then you will eventually come to believe your choice is actually normal, even when it isn’t. So yes, it is possible to be “happy” in that lifestyle, once you have seared your own God-given conscience. But you will still have consequences. And not only that, but in your embrace of sin, you will have contributed to the searing of young consciences all around your sphere of influence.

This is why Christians in this generation have difficulty with taking a stand against homosexuality. We who were born in the sixties, grew up in the period when it transitioned. When Homosexuality was removed from the DSM as perversion. And if the Lord doesn’t step in soon, there definitely will be worse things that also will cease to be considered deviant. NAMBLA is working hard to get pedophilia off that DSM list. And who then will we be to judge or condemn the guys (or gals) “coming out” proud with their proclamation of sexual preference for donkeys.  It doesn’t matter what “society” decides.  That doesn’t change God’s eternal law.

I mean, when does it stop? Where is the line? The line is way back yonder, folks. We passed it a long time ago. I am not going to pretend that it’s normal and okay for a man to surgically alter his body to look like a woman, when a genetic test would still prove he is male. I am not going to pretend that little kids four and five and six years old, need to be told they can choose their gender. My goodness, growing up in this world is hard enough.

So, if someone wants to shoot me, or lock me up, or hunt me down from whatever dozens of lists I’m on for my “radical” views, then so be it. I never had much stomach for pretending anyway.

One generation rejects the truth, in favor of a lie, and succeeding generations never know the truth, and never get the chance to know the truth.

Sin corrupts civilization. Truth may be hard to accept, but there is so much more to lose when truth is lost. The “Millennial” generation are the least God-fearing, according to the latest research. Why? Because no one has taught them to fear God. All that has been modeled for this generation is defiance against all authority.

Just like Bruce Jenner, people foolishly believe that throwing off all bands and restrictions of morality and absolute truth, equals freedom. But what it actually does, is it makes man slave to their own flesh, and ultimately, Satan himself.

These days we are living in, people have not only traded the truth for delusion, but they will not tolerate anyone else speaking truth either. So, for those of us who have wondered whether persecution is coming to Christians in America, the answer depends on whether you plan to stick with the truth. It depends on who you fear most. If the rapture doesn’t take place soon, then we can expect to face that choice soon. Best to do your soul searching now.

That’s not going to happen with Christians who refuse to acknowledge what is happening in America. Those die-hard glass-half-full, “this is America, we always come back” types. They don’t want to think about it, for whatever reason, and I believe there are different reasons for different people. I am just concerned that those who prefer not to think about it, will be confronted with the reality and having failed to count the cost, will compromise and suffer the shame that comes with that. But, you know, Peter did that, he denied Christ to save his own hide, and Christ graciously saw to it that he had another chance to make the right choice.

Who’s to say that no matter how prepared we believe we are, we may yet fail. If we are depending on our own willpower and determination, we will definitely fail. So the believer who is not invested in watching the frame-by-frame progression toward the culmination of world history, may not be remiss, he may just have a different calling, and as long as he is faithful in that, and being in the Word and communion with the Lord in prayer, well, he may be just as “ready” as those like myself who are watching the approach, and maybe even more ready for those trying times.

When you get the calling to be a watchman, it is a pretty consuming task, and the study of prophecy just naturally leads to urgency. The zeal comes with the territory. It took a while for me to realize that the Lord doesn’t necessarily require everyone to be that tuned-in to the prophetic developments.  But I still can’t wrap my brain around those professing Christians who truly don’t want to hear about it because they just aren’t finished getting their fill of this world.  If that is you, well, you’re in for a real harsh awakening. Because you are either going to face reality all at once when it crashes down around your head, or you may even find out that you weren’t saved after all.  You better be sure that you are sure. Because something is going to “give” soon, one way or the other.
