My heart has been heavy this week, as I am sure yours has too. It’s like sitting death vigil with a dying loved one, to watch what is happening in our nation. If we are Babylon the Great, that fall is well and truly underway, and I look for exponential breakdown that continues to accelerate, regardless. I think it would be even more tortuous if it were to drag out slowly.
Readers will excuse this blogger if Serve Him In The Waiting observes a little silence today. I don’t know any other thing taking place in this world today that comes anywhere close to being so monumentally newsworthy for Americans in the face of the implications of events that have occurred this week. I realize we are just one nation in a world of many nations in turmoil, but as an American, I kind of feel we ought to lower the flag to half mast and hang a mourning wreath on the door. May the Lord remember mercy even in His sore displeasure and wrath, and give us strength to carry on standing for what is right no matter what the cost may be now that man’s law requires us to violate God’s law, which we cannot, and now that America is no longer sovereign as a nation, but merged with the global government that is coalescing before our eyes.

It is truly raining in my heart for all that you just spoke of, but also the two big Supreme Court decisions that now truly make us the same as Sodomm and Gomorrah. How can our God Not react at some point? May He Have Mercy on us all.
