Down but not out

Shell-shocked.  Traumatized.  Heart-broken.  This past week goes down in my book, as the singular most mind-pummeling week I’ve ever personally experienced as an American, by virtue of the number and magnitude of irrevocable life-altering events.  America has been sold up the river.  The Constitution is all but null and void, Sharia is enforced on our military during Ramadan, while Christians are being court-martialed for practicing their faith, and DHS and FBI are telling us that the likelihood of terror attacks on U.S. soil on the 4th of July is very high.  I should say so, since we have opened wide the gates to anyone who wants to come here, no matter what their intent.

I spent my weekend doing some painting, and some crafting, and putting all of the above out of my mind for some significant chunks of time.  As things get crazier in this world, Christians find ourselves in circumstances where we wonder if the entire population of the planet Earth is not collectively losing their mind.  And in fact, they are.  The “delusion” that is ordained for those who love not the truth, has already been underway, for those who are taking the lead in these things.  And those who take pleasure in the celebration of the Supreme Court decisions, are as culpable as those who have perpetuated them.  Choose ye this day whom ye will serve, because the implications are life and death.  A definite line has been drawn in the sand.  As a nation America is now officially standing on the opposite side of that line from God Almighty.  If you love your life and don’t relish having to take a stand one way or another, you need to realize that not deciding is the default choosing of opposition to God.  Everything is at stake.  Everything is on the table now.

I’ve not gotten too much into the “Obama is the Antichrist” fray, but he regards not the god of his father (he is Muslim in that it benefits his politics, but doesn’t believe any “god” has power over him) nor has he regard of woman. (How long now until Michael makes her big “coming out” as a trannie?).

Obama is certainly a “world hero” today.  Even though most of his own constituents don’t support or like him, he doesn’t care because his goal has never been to win the favor of Americans, except to the extent he could get elected, but he has always courted the world and as I have said since day one of his Occupation of the White House, he never stopped campaigning.  He may not be the guy, but he sure is the epitome of a mad despot.  And he essentially gets whatever he wants.

I’m willing to bet that every Christian is not only dealing with their disappointment (even though we knew which way these things would go) but also dealing with various other personal difficulties and struggles.  I think that is just the Lord’s way for finishing off any love of or desire for this world, and turning our hearts toward our Heavenly home.

I didn’t think I could get any more ready to go, but boy!  The Christian-haters are going to get what they  are wishing for.  All the Christians (True Christians) are going to be gone soon.  And God is going to remove His hand of grace, provision, protection, and order at the same time.  The haters of God will rejoice, but then they will realize the real implications, and sadly instead of it causing them to regret their disdain for God, they will remain hard in their hearts, and miserable in their torments.

Two Witnesses will preach the gospel to them, and an angel will fly to and fro in the Earth and proclaim the everlasting gospel, and the sealed 144,000 chosen Jewish converts will preach, and the hatred of the hard-hearted will never abate.

The crosses at Calvary tell the story.  Jesus the innocent dying for the sins of the world while on one side a thief despises and taunts the Christ, while one recognizes and acknowledges Him as the Messiah. (Which Thief are You?) It all comes down to willingness to accept the truth, or unwillingness to do so.  What the Supreme Court has done, what Obama has done, what the Republicans and Democrats in Congress have done, is chose to reject the truth. It does not change the truth one iota.  But it seals fates.

Our life is hid in Christ and our eternity is secure.  Whatever occurs here in this Earthly realm is temporary.  It will all end.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)  The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. (Psalm 121:7)

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
