A Supreme Blunder: The Bad, The Good, The Ugly

On June 26, 2015 everything changed…

It was on that day that five unelected Justices, redefined what marriage is.

Last week I attended the Alliance Defending Freedom Pastors Conference in California, where I was blessed to have heard some of the sharpest Christian lawyers give us the new lay of the “legal land.”

I have learned tons, and some of it is bad. But, I am more encouraged than ever at the wonderful opportunities we Christians will have in the coming months and years to share the only vision of marriage that produces human flourishing, the union of one man and one woman.

As you know, the Supreme Court has now made same-sex marriage the law of the land in all 50 states. This law will be implemented, and I believe there will be severe repercussions for Christians as a result of that law. I believe we’ve already seen the persecution of the low-hanging fruit so to speak, Christian bakers and florists who wish not to provide services to same-sex weddings, and inn keepers that may not want to host a same-sex wedding on their private property. The activists have gone after them first—easy targets.[…]
