A Michigan man is suing Ford Motor Company after the company fired him for calling homosexuality “immoral.” The Christian Post reports Thomas Banks, a contract engineer, was terminated without warning in August 2014 after Ford updated its policies to become more LGBT friendly.

Kentucky Juvenile Department Bans Biblical Counseling

An ordained pastor’s volunteer credentials have been revoked by the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) for refusing to sign a statement promising to never tell inmates that homosexuality was “sinful.” The Liberty Counsel is now defending David Wells, arguing that the pastor should be able to explain what the Bible says about sexuality.

Armed Texas Pastor Shoots Church Intruder

An armed Texas pastor reportedly shot an intruder in his church early Tuesday morning (July 28). ABC 13 reports the pastor, Benny Holmes, heard suspect Lee Marvin Blue attempting to gain entry into The Church of New Beginnings in Baytown and shot the man once in his right shoulder.

A man was killed and his wife seriously injured in a stabbing at a church a retreat center in Frederick, Maryland. The stabbing occurred during a prayer service at the Anna Prayer Counseling and Retreat Center on Sunday night (July 26).
