I will keep this short. I just spent a good while writing a post, and lost it entirely. That never happens because of auto-save, in WordPress, but this time it vanished without a trace, and I figure it’s because the Lord wants me to write something different.
On the first day we were in PA on our trip last week to take our son to camp, we dropped him off, and returned to our Motel only to discover when we got our own stuff out, that he had left his sleeping bag in the car. A pretty important thing to have at camp. So my husband drove it back the thirty or more miles (one way).
While he was gone, I was settling in, and getting comfy, getting things arranged as far as toiletries, etc, and I got a sudden prompt in my spirit and vision in my mind of my husband in a crash. So I immediately prayed for his safety. I remember thinking, that would be awful, me in a strange place, him on an unfamiliar rural road, and the boys in two different places as well.
I kept at what I was doing and didn’t give it anymore thought until later that evening when I think we were sitting down to eat, and my husband says: “Oh, I forgot to tell you, I almost died on my way back to the camp!”
He said he came upon a hilly turn and encountered a back-up with very little time to brake, but was able to stop in time, only to look up in his rearview mirror to see another car flying up full speed behind him, the driver’s head down looking at his cell phone. My husband only had time to say “Well, Lord…” and the guy looked up just in time to swerve and miss him by inches, and go flying off the shoulder.
Thank the Lord for watching over us.
God knows how to deliver us out of all our troubles. He will either go through them with us, or He will avert them.
I guess that is a better testimony than I originally wrote, because the point is, we see bad things catching up to America, and a crash-and-burn scenario. Satan wants us scared. But God is in control.
That is my message for Christians, but if you are unsaved, please get saved today. You are not imagining things. Something bad is coming, and you need a Savior. If you do not accept Christ, you will be susceptible to the Antichrist. Judgment is coming upon this world, and individual judgment is coming as well, but you can be pardoned from all guilt and sin by placing your faith in the sacrifice of Jesus, the perfect lamb, who died to pay the penalty for your sins and mine. Tomorrow may be too late!

Maim if this wasn’t meant for me to read I don’t know what is. But very good blog post, keep up the writing!
