When I listen to the news, all I hear is that sound used to emulate voices of all grown-ups in the old Charlie Brown cartoons.

Peanuts Teacher talking

Ugh.  Ok, here I am.  Sorry for my increasingly inconsistent posting pattern. I’ll try to do better.  Maybe.  Or not.  Easy to envy the blissfully ignorant right about now.

I’ve not been on much the past few days, as we made a quick trip south to haul a vehicle back for our Army son who is about to change locations soon.  While we were there, our other son totaled his car.  He is perfectly okay, but you can imagine the alarm of getting a call like that when you are six hundred miles from home.  I am thankful that God watched over our son and protected him. And although he has lost his hard-earned investment, it is a lesson learned. Young folks are resilient.  I worried this would get him down and discouraged.  But he’s taking it in stride, and taking responsibility for it.  No one else was involved, so that is also something to be thankful about.  I got home in time to get some prophecy updates up, and spent yesterday catching up housework, then got out my paints for some “shut down the thinker” time.

The news of Obama’s appointment of a homosexual to the post of Secretary of the Army still made it’s way to my ears despite being away from the computer and television.  If I didn’t put my Army son’s life and care in God’s hands every day, I’d sure have a lot of reasons to be very worried about his tenure.  But if ever there was a time when the phrase “sufficient for the day are the troubles thereof” was true, it is right now.  Learning to live in the present moment as I have through personal hardships, is serving me well in that respect right now. We can’t afford to let ourselves get panicked or frightened over what we see developing.  God is very much in control, and soon everyone is going to know it.

Israel saw an increase of 35% in those making Aliya in the past year.  The Lord is re-gathering His chosen nation.  I re-blogged a story yesterday about a new gadget that can project an image onto the clouds from an airplane (and based on links in that story that took me to the Project Nimbus website, this has also been done from the ground), so there is one more useful invention that one can easily imagine could become a useful tool in the coming great delusion.

I read a heart-rending article about a father whose now-deceased Army son described to him the horrors of hearing the screams of the young boys over in the Afghani camp being abused night after night.  The soldier told of going to his C.O. about it and being told “we do nothing, this is part of their culture”.  The son was killed after going to the police about the issue when one of the boy’s mothers came to him for help.  This is our world now.  Masses of humanity are migrating on a scale not seen in centuries.  (Many shall run to and fro).  The legitimately displaced are suffering very real hardship, while as always, the criminal element takes full advantage of the opportunity which crisis always provides.

It is a sick, sick world we are living in.  You know by now that Obama plans to bring at least 90,000 Syrian “refugees” to America this year. And in the meantime as Isis and Al Qaida operatives are waved right in and put on public assistance, our soldiers and their families are struggling to get by on their meager military salaries, and made sitting ducks as they are all clustered on military bases, in recruiting centers, and prohibited from being armed.

The ACLJ is so busy I don’t even know how they keep up!  Defending the rights of students on college campuses to exercise their religion in their everyday life, coaches being fired or otherwise penalized for praying with or sharing their faith with the students on their team, pastors being held hostage in Sudan, in Iran, and Christians being slaughtered in the Middle East by the thousands every day.

There is no more pretense that Obama is a Christian.  He has facilitated Islamic extremism all the way in America, and exponentially facilitated the free reign of radical Islamic violence in the Middle East, during his “tenure”, but I hope by now, most Christians also understand how much George Bush and other “conservatives” have laid the groundwork and been complicit in the present conditions.

What has been scoffed at as “government conspiracy theory” and kept conveniently “in doubt” for many decades, doesn’t even bother to hide itself any longer.  Just like the sinful behavior of homosexuals and other perversions of sexuality, written off as “part of a culture” or “born this way” and filed under “don’t judge”.

It is rather difficult to take interest in the political process at this point.  I do not foresee any candidate making a difference in the direction this nation is headed.

There is a lot of hype about Trump.  If nothing else, maybe he is helping overthrow the culture of political correctness a little.  Fiorina is surging ahead of all the others, some of which have already been dropping out.  Did anyone even notice when Perry fell from the pack?  Now Walker.  Bush is at the bottom, yet how many of you would be willing to place money on the probability that Bush will still get the nomination?  If Trump gets it, you can be sure he is just the latest twist on keeping the masses believing they have a champion.  I mean, they have to change it up some way.  It’s like with Fox News.  Do you imagine some Fox executive somewhere saying “Ok, the people are clamoring now for “fair and balanced” so that is how we’ll paint it”.

It’s all smoke and mirrors.

Don’t kid yourself.  Trump, who is “self-made” new money, lusts for the power and status of the Rockefellers or at least the  Bush’s and if the powers-that-be are really considering letting him “in” (which I doubt) then this is merely his initiation.  Play the role of what the people want, play by the establishment rules once you get in, one false move and you’re dead.  It sounds like a storyline from a bad gangster movie, but seriously, folks, can we expect anything taking place in the “halls of government” to really be as it appears?  Not on your life!

Meanwhile, Mahmoud Abbas will address the U.N. on Friday.  The expectation is that he may abolish the Oslo Accords.  He will likely also join the International Criminal Court by signing on to the Rome Statute.  The Rome Statute is also known as the International Criminal Court Statute, and was adopted in 1998 and went into force in 2002.  It established as core “international crimes:  genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression. (Wikipedia)  It is not a part of the United Nations, but does work cooperatively with the U.N. (ICC Website)

As you can see, this would pave the way for the as yet still-unofficial “state of Palestine” to bring charges against the Nation of Israel and in the current anti-Israel climate of the world, this will be a useful means for Abbas (and the whole rest of the world) in exerting additional pressure upon Israel.  However, this may be a moot point if UN member states ratify France’s proposal to recognize Palestinian Statehood officially, which is quite likely to happen this time around. (Good thing the U.N. participated in the Jewish Tashlich Ceremony and got their clean slate before they throw Israel under the bus, huh?)  Doing away with the Oslo accords would be symbolic mostly, except in one critical way, and that would have to do with the present security-cooperation that is the one aspect of the accords that is actually practiced.  This has to do with what areas the PA forces are allowed to patrol, and what areas they are not allowed jurisdiction.  Currently the P.A. forces adhere to this aspect of the Accords essentially in return for the access to water and electricity provided through Israel.  Were they to break this agreement, Israel would have to limit the P.A. access by force in order to keep Israeli’s safe, and the P.A. would suffer from loss of access to critical infrastructure for their water and electricity supply.

However, when was the last time despotic leaders actually allowed concern for the needs of the average citizen to enter into their consideration when making decisions such as this?  Never, that’s when.  Most Palestinian Arabs would become Israeli citizens in a heartbeat if they could.

Oh, and now that Kerry has brokered a stellar Nuke deal with Iran, he’s set his sights on negotiations with Russia and Assad on the Syria situation.  Yeah, he plans to use diplomacy to curb the world domination ambitions of the old Bear.  No reason to think it won’t be every bit as spectacular a success as the Iran deal.  Anything is possible if you come to the table willing to “negotiate” sell the family farm.

And what of the “fake clock debacle”?  Student of Muslim persuasion (doesn’t get much more “Muslim” than Ahmed Mohamed), brings a dis-assembled clock to school looking just like a bomb, in an area of Texas where the mayor just happened to endorse a state bill that prohibits Sharia “voluntary” and “non-binding” mediation. from being used in the Texas state and U.S. judicial systems. This Sharia experiment was implemented in Irvine Texas under the auspices of Obama’s Islamic former Homeland Security Advisor Mohammed Elibiary, who moved to Dallas when he left that DHS post.  No underlying plot going on there, though. Nah! Just a coincidence, I’m sure.  What better way to stir up bleeding hearts to defend poor little Ahmed, a misunderstood and obviously “profiled” Muslim boy. And the professional bleeding hearts of the liberal world fell right in line and started tweeting photos of themselves with clocks and “we stand with Ahmed” signs, a gesture now as ubiquitous as ye olde candle light vigil.

Another shooting in a church yesterday in Alabama.  A man came in and sat on the front row with his ex- girlfriend and their child, and pulled out his gun and shot them both.  The girlfriend was hit in the jaw and shoulder, the baby was hit in the hand.  The pastor lunged and grabbed the shooter, and was shot in the log, while other congregants piled on and finally managed to wrestle the gun away.  The shooter fled, but was captured and is currently in jail.

That such evil is no longer hesitant to enter directly into America’s churches, is a clear sign of the Christian’s failure to stand and to Occupy in this nation.  The Lord told us to occupy until He comes for us.  To Occupy is to possess and control.  The fading of light, and the loss of saltiness, is what has allowed the evil to encroach right into the doors of the church.  Now imagine what this world will be like when the Lord takes the remaining salt and light out!

One good thing about somber times such as these, is that it can serve to cause people to really be thankful for what they have, or even blessings they were privileged to have, even when later lost. So I will close my post with something that reminds us to focus on thankfulness, even in tragic times.
