Would everyone who read the “Flare before the Dimming and the Dark Before the Dawn” post please raise your hand!

Yeah, that’s what I thought.  I know at least five people did, because they left a “like”.  I have to laugh.  because when I wrote that post  last Wednesday, I had been piddling around with changes in the blog layout, including reverting to one of the un-paid themes, and had temporarily set the blog to private setting, thinking it was only going to take an hour or so.  Unfortunately,  between interruptions, glitches, and my memory-like-a-sieve, I forgot to change it back to “public” when I was done. One reason I chose to do all of that, is because I was not going to continue my previous “schedule” (if you can call it that) of posting.  So be sure to, go back and read the “Flare before the Dimming….” post because you wouldn’t have gotten it if you access the content only in your feed, reader, or e-mail.

When I hit the “publish” button on that post on Wednesday, since the blog was still set to “private”, no notification went out, but anyone trying to go online to the blog, would have been given a “private site” message.  Come Thursday and Friday, a few people had submitted requests for membership, and three had contacted me to ask if everything was okay since I had not posted Sunday’s updates.  I’m sorry guys!

So there I was thinking I’ve got the blog all tucked in for a bit while I take a breather, and all that most of you guys got was crickets chirping in the silence, and probably a let-down on Sunday that the updates weren’t posted.

Linda in Toronto checked in first, having guessed I was probably doing some maintenance, and it wasn’t until then, that I finally realized I forgot to reset it to public, and by then it had already been a few days.   I don’t know why you guys stick around, but I’m beginning to wonder if it may have something to do with the way my being so scatter-brained makes the rest of you feel down-right “together” , lol.

So here is the clarification of the initial plan and also a clarification of the intended clarification:  Yes I am fine, thank you to everyone who was concerned, but also, yes I am stepping back a bit. The “so much for graceful exits” post was meant to be an explanation  and direct folks to the original (Flare before dimming…) post, but only the good Lord knows how many folks I have thoroughly confused now!

I guess I must have gotten distracted by something shiny.

Anyhoo, I gave the links to all of the usual prophecy updates, a page all their own.  You can find it at the top of the blog homepage in the menu. Just click the menu item “Prophecy Updates” and it will redirect you to the page with all of the links. Then click the update you want, and it will take you there! (will open it in a new page). That way, on Sunday afternoons you can still access all the same updates I usually post here. They just won’t be  physically posted here in the blog post stream.

I will continue to write my own musings as the Lord leads, which for some reason, you guys tell me you enjoy,  in spite my frequent brain-hiccups, and crazy streams of randomocity.  It goes to show that the Lord will use whatever you’ve got, if you’re just willing to put it out there.  All credit to Him!  I don’t even know how He does it!

Benjaman Netanyahu was right here in DC this week..  I swear, if I thought I could have gotten past the guards, I’d’ve taken the  treacherous two-and-a-half hour drive in that snarling Northern VA and D.C.  traffic, just to give the guy a hug and tell him that the Horse’s patooti-in-chief does not speak for the rest of us.

But then, people like myself are why they have the fences and barricades, no?

HA!

Well, at least the federal appeals court struck down Hussein Ali-boo-hoo’s immigration dictate.  And ding-dang if the candidates in this last debate didn’t have a few ideas up their sleeves about what to do with his healthcare law too.  Even Blinky Fiorina showed better than last time! Repeal it!  Heck yeah! Scrap it and start over.

Rubio pretty much dominated once again.  I think Carson held his own, and all the dirt-digging and mud-slinging the usual suspects can fling his way, can only backfire when aimed at someone as soft-spoken and hokey as him.  I mean, what was it he said about his media detractors after the debate (in his interview with that guy with the huge head from Fox what’s his name?  Cavuto!)  “They can go jump in a lake”.  That’s probably as close as Carson comes to an expletive.  And so, as I said, the media and guys like Trump and the career politicians, just have no ammo that can stick to him.  He’s too squeaky clean! LOL.  Burning coals, baby!

Does anyone see any reason, (other than the small inconsequential fact that the eletist powers-that-be have already selected their Chosen One), why in the world Jeb Bush even got to remain in the debate lineup?

Ok, well, while I have your ears, er uh eyeballs, that last book I helped edit, was released this week. “One of the Few”, by Jason Ladd, and yeah, I did remove the blurb I had in the sidebar about his book when I did all the housecleaning, because the whole sidebar situation is different now, but here is the Amazon link:

http://www.amazon.com/Jason-B.-Ladd/e/B016Z1BVXM/ref=dp_byline_cont_ebooks_1

The Kindle edition is still free for today, I think, if you go there now and download it.  You can also download the free Kindle Amazon app there for your computer or other device if you don’t have it.

It is an awesome read and you will be glad you got it.  My contribution was on a volunteer basis, so I’m not saying that for the sake of selling books. I offer that service to Christians who are writing their own books when the Lord leads.  As one of the editors and pre-readers, I am really excited about the book for the witness it is for the Lord and the Gospel.  So check it out and maybe knock out a few of the names on your Christmas gift list at the same time!  It really has appeal to the saved and unsaved alike, male and female, military, and young men in particular.  Jason writes about how he came to see that the Christian worldview is the only one that makes sense, and he does it with all sorts of great anecdotes and examples from his life growing up as a military kid and now a Marine Fighter Pilot, so lots of cool and interesting aspects to the writing!  I frankly have never enjoyed any book more, and that was in reading his rough drafts, so I know you guys will love the polished up finished product!
