So, last week I wrote about remembering who the enemy is and who the enemy isn’t. I wrote a meandering post about things on my mind, and submitted an edited  and condensed version to Rapture Ready, which posted it as well. And boy has this been a trying week. I am not going to go into the details of it, because the devil doesn’t deserve the satisfaction. But needless to say, it is probably a taste of things to come, and so again I want to exhort you guys to remain vigilant.  The modus operandi in my case has been the dredging up of old conflicts.  I went on to still fall into the very trap I warned about, and literally it has been a week of spiritual warfare.  Thankfully it is the Lord’s battle and not mine, and He has prevailed.

I can testify that what Satan meant for evil, and what our own flesh does in warring against the Spirit, God is still working together for good.  I believe the reason God has allowed this, is for the purposes of addressing unresolved wrongs and having them dealt with and under the blood, because time is short.  I heard from some readers who testified to the same happening in their lives, and who were moved to write and tell me that after reading the post on Rapture Ready.

I want to encourage you all to keep reminding yourself and other believers who maybe don’t know prophecy that well, that everything we see happening, and will see happening, should only reassure us that we are going home soon.  Pete Garcia wrote a very insightful article at the Omegaletter.com website on this topic Monday,  which you may have seen on Prophecy Update, and other places since then.  And I am sure you guys continue to view the prophecy updates that J.D. Farag and John Haller (at Fellowship Bible Chapel), and Pastor Garrett in Sarasota put out every Sunday, as well as our friend in Australia (Pastor Andrew at Calvary Melbourne), and the one on Wednesday by Pastor Morris.  None of these guys consult with one another or compare notes, but their updates from week to week “eerily” co-inside in their content in a very consistent manner.

Yes, the state of the world is sickening, disheartening, and bleak.  Thankfully there is some truth starting to come to light.  This is not a turnaround.  But it is hopeful in that it will help some people figure some things out, and will weaken the enemy’s power to blind them and deceive them.  Remember that it is lack of love for the Truth, that makes people susceptible to the coming strong delusion. These horrifying developments have cultivated more of a willingness for people to face unpleasant realities and seek to confront the truth, rather than remain comfortably in denial.  So to see more people even telling the truth, is a good thing.  Even if it is a small drop in a gargantuan ocean of lies.  The Benghazi movie is telling truth, the citizens of Germany and other parts of Europe who are finally fed up with Islamification of their culture, even though it is already so deep-rooted they will not be able to rid themselves of the dangers completely, at least even as World History gets ready to enter this next phase, there is still some space and time to proclaim TRUTH.  That is God’s mercy, even as His cup of wrath nears overflowing.

Take heart.  Seek the Lord.  Stay in the Word.  Wear the armor.  Submit to the Spirit.  Confess your sins, resolve rifts, make amends, and stay the course.  Do NOT panic.  The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. Jehovah Jirah, is your provider. The banner of Jehovah Nissi waves high over your safe abode and the enemy cannot breach that Mighty Fortress, though he will certainly try.
