Wikipedia: Ontology (from onto-, from the Greek ὤν, ὄντος “being; that which is”, present participle of the verb εἰμί “be”, and -λογία, -logia: science, study, theory) is the philosophical study of the nature of being, existence, or reality . The ancient Greek Philosopher Permenides (pre-Socratic philospher) was one of the first to propose an ontological characterization of the fundamental nature of reality.

Permenides asserted that reality (what is) is one, change is impossible, and existence is timeless, uniform, necessary and unchanging, and that one’s sensory faculties lead to conceptions that are false and deceitful, and he concluded that “nothing comes from nothing”.- souirce Wikipedia  This philosophical school of thought is the absolute bedrock of Western Civilization.  One might say, it is the seed of good old fashioned common sense that gave birth to this nation and modern civilization as a whole.

Let’s look at it in other words: Truth and relativity are mutually exclusive!  There is only one Truth!

Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life.  No man cometh unto the Father but by Me.  John 14:16

Hebrews 3:4 “For every house is builded by some man, but he that built all things is God.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Romans 1:20 The invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

Psalm 04:11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.  Who can know it?

Do you believe that your cell phone just came into being one day?  You can look at a cell phone, and see that it required conscious thought, physical effort, and had a very specific design.  If it has a design, there had to be a designer.  It is a real, solid, whole object that you can hold in your hand, made up of various parts, all designed such that they must work together in a very specific way in order to accomplish the specific end result for which the gadget is purposed, that of your being able to exchange conversation and text messages over the airwaves with your friends.

It takes a whole lot more “faith” to believe that nothing came from nothing” than to believe that a powerful, conscious, and very intelligent Being greater than ourselves, is responsible for all the intricate design in the human body, and all of nature, our world, and the galaxies beyond.  It also stands to reason that as imperfect and finite beings, we are not even capable of conceiving of the idea of a perfect and infinite Being, unless said Being instilled that idea in us.  Dog’s have no concept of algebra, nor do they have any concept that any such thing as algebra exists, much less are they aware that algebra is a function the human brain is capable of grasping.

The existence of God is made obvious by the order and usefulness which is clearly evidenced in our universe.
