I’ve been having a hard time since October 7. I’ve had something like a splinter in my spirit that doesn’t stop hurting. That the attack perpetrated on Israel three weeks ago was horrific, goes without saying, but what has been happening across the U.S. is equally appalling. I think what is stuck in my craw is that I have posted, for over a decade, about indoctrination in schools and colleges, about sleeper cells in America, about the growing Muslim population in the West, and the loss of our God-given freedoms, and a whole lot of other people have been sounding the alarm about all of these things, and yet, here we are!
How can so many be so deceived about the Jewish people and so ignorant about who the Iran-backed terrorist Hamas are? These Anti-Israel, pro-Hamas gatherings have surpassed the MAGA rallies, in numbers of people participating.
It is not ok for any Christian to turn a blind eye. Worse, many are condemning Israel, and giving Hamas a pass. They really don’t understand scripture and God’s plan for Israel. None of us are going to be able to stand before God and have any excuse for that. We have our Bibles and it’s all laid out there, and those out in the streets or in pulpits, who curse Israel, are bringing curses upon their own heads.
Israel absolutely has to finish what Iran, via Hamas, has started. Joe Biden is paying lip service to supporting Israel, but tying their hands at the same time. Holding them back has to be demoralizing to those soldiers waiting to fight.
My spirit is sick from witnessing the rabid Jew hatred in the West. Even understanding that the Bible said the love of many would grow cold and understanding Satan’s jealous hatred for the Jews, it has still been devastating to witness.
I pray for all Israelis, and for the Jews who are fighting, for their safety and that they would come to know God better. I pray for the Messianic Jews fighting, that they would have a profound witness to Jews who don’t yet know their Messiah is Jesus. I pray for the demon-possessed terrorists and the lost of Gaza. I pray for the depraved “leaders” of America, and the few righteous ones doing what they can. I most of all, pray for the pastors of America, and the complacent Christians. Nobody gets a pass on this. Nobody! Where is the outcry on behalf of Israel?
I don’t have words, really, to form those prayers out loud, nor even to adequately express my thoughts about all of this. Sorrow. That’s what I have. Disappointment in fellow-Americans, especially professing Christians. Not just the ones in the streets, but the ones remaining “neutral” silent, and willfully ignorant. You are no better than the citizenry of Nazi Germany. Go to church every Sunday and “sing a little louder” because “it’s not your problem”. Except it actually is.
The Bible says “the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” John 16:2. This is exactly what Islam teaches. Captured 10/7 terrorists stated as much when interrogated. The rabid dog of Muslim extremism will not be sated by the blood of Jews, even if they managed to kill every one of them. They hate us. They hate you!
Too many Americans think there is no way this can happen in America, even after having experienced 9-11. They will continue to believe that, right up until the time it does happen here. Ask a veteran.
What happened in Israel is worse than 9-11. Proportionally it took a larger percentage of their population, and no one was left unscathed. It is also worse in that terrorists went door to door, car to car, throughout the streets of small neighborhoods, right into their homes. Some still in their beds. Those demons looked people right in the eyes while they bashed babies heads against the floor. raped wives in front of husbands and children. Laughed at their pleas, as they wrapped people together with wire, and then set them on fire. And half of the world doesn’t believe it even happened.
It’s Halloween today. One of the Satan’s most active days of the year. With evil so stirred up, we better be praying over our own homes and families.
God has to get people to see what humanity becomes, once they forsake Him and His Word. America has been given much, and therefore much will be required of America. It’s a universal, inescapable spiritual law, just as gravity is a physical one.
God historically used evil nations to chasten and correct Israel. He doesn’t cause them to do their evil, He merely withdraws his protective hand from the disobedient, and allows the evil ones to do what they are already inclined to do. The Assyrian army was notoriously merciless, modern terrorists are no different, they just have more ways to inflict their evil. We have been sheltered from them because America has for the most part blessed Israel, and because of the wisdom of our founders, prayers of our ancestors, and ongoing prayers of a remnant, many of which don’t live in America! But that favor can run out any minute, especially at the rate America is burning through it. God will deal with all of the evildoers. Set yourself apart from them so that you won’t catch any of the collateral damage. Safety in obedience to God. Cover your family in prayer. It effects us, even just witnessing horrible things that happen to others. It is traumatic. Watching it from the other side of the world was bad enough. We may be seeing it more up close, unfortunately. I’m listening harder than ever for that trumpet, but meanwhile, I have to be realistic.

Well said. Christians who have discernment all share your feelings – surreal! People screaming with hatred at meetings on Capitol Hill, gold stars worn by Israeli U.N. members to their meetings. Jewish families, women and children butchered in Gaza with no sympathy from most of the world. Reminiscent of the book of Esther and the Holocaust. Our countries’ intelligentsia has been affected on college campuses with vermin I never thought I would hear. Obviously, Satan brings his attacks on Jewish and Christian people throughout the church age until the Lord Jesus Christ cleans up shop. Looking forward to the Millenium, Blessings in Christ, Steve Thompson
