I was looking for a number from a call I got back in October, and noticed that our younger, talkative son, who is stationed in Texas called me 51 times in 2024.

Our older son, is not as silent as his dad, but still a man of few words, and prefers texts, and has a newborn, a 3yr old, a full time job, Army Reserves, and is currently studying for his Paramedic certification, so I don’t presume upon his time, and just shoot him occasional texts to let him know I’m thinking about him and praying for his family. But, parents like to hear their kid’s voices once in a while.
