I believe God moves people to do things like this as a procedural action similar to one a prosecuting attorney uses as he builds his case. It’s establishing evidence that will be presented in the courts of  Heaven at the judgment of nations. It is eerily like a eulogy. It may say more about the lateness of the hour than most things that happened across the globe on Friday.

I appreciate this speech. It does indeed apply to the whole of the Western world.  America is a mere couple of footsteps behind.

Profound sorrow permeated my heart as I woke up this morning, and this speech holds that same weight of sorrow. It’s like sitting  death watch over an actively dying family member whom we know will only face eternal consequences after he breathes his last breath, and yet knowing that could have been avoided.

Being perfectly Just, yet so full of love, when I wonder what God must feel right now about the humanity He created, the only human experience that I can imagine even comes close to comparing, is the parent who is watching their adult son or daughter die from a drug overdose, while also knowing the son or daughter had only  derision for the parent who did everything possible to raise them right and to get them clean. They were just too far gone. Needless and senseless and un-called-for.

God knew from the beginning how it would end and blessed the nations anyway.
