On March 16th President Obama signed an executive order that authorizes the President and government to take over all aspects of our national economy during a national emergency. Considering Obama’s whole “never let a good crisis go to waste” mentality, the implications of this are chilling. Executive orders are nothing new, but they have always been made during a national emergency (wartime) and none has ever been so sweepingly comprehensive. Congresswoman Kay Granger, (TX), sums it up this way in her weekly e-newsletter: “This means all of our water resources, construction services and materials (steel, concrete, etc.), our civil transportation system, food and health resources, our energy supplies including oil and natural gas – even farm equipment – can be taken over by the President and his cabinet secretaries. The Government can also draft U.S. citizens into the military and force U.S. citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of “national defense.” There is not even any Congressional oversight, only briefings are required”
Folks, this constitutes Martial Law! Are you paying attention to what your government is up to?
Read the Executive Order for yourself.
You might also want to read about the bill for Obama’s impeachment now in congress, while you are at it.
And if you thought that whole Fukushima Reactor thing was all taken care of, think again! Considering that the “Ring of Fire” is becoming more active than ever in history, there is a pretty high likelihood of another earthquake effecting Fukushima, and the experts have said that could result in fallout 85 times Chernobyl. You do the math.
I have to agree with my fellow blogger Donna Wasson, who writes of how it feels to be the disheveled fellow on the street corner holding the cardboard sign that reads “Repent The End is Near” when she says: “I’m sure my fellow Christians will agree that it gets darn exhausting to constantly proclaim the in-your-face, politically incorrect truth. To swim upstream against the current of popular opinion and the increasing hatred of all things Christian. We keep working because we care and grieve for the lost and what they are facing”.
But even more disturbing to me, as expressed in yesterday’s post, is the number of Christians who know the implications of these things but they just don’t want to think about it, much less be the wild-eyed guy with the cardboard sign. But for those people I have only one question.
What are you going to do about this pesky little verse from Ezekiel 3? 18When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
