When we feel we have nothing left to give And we are sure that the “song has ended”– When our day seems over and the shadows fall And the darkness of night has descended.
Where can we go to find the strength To valiantly keep on trying, Where can we find the hand that will dry The tears that the heart is crying–
There’s but one place to go and that is to God And, dropping all pretense and pride, We can pour out our problems without restraint And gain strength with Him at our side–
And together we stand at life’s crossroads And view what we think is the end, But God has a much bigger vision And He tells us it’s only a bend–
For the road goes on and is smoother, And the “pause in the song” is a “rest”, And the part that’s unsung and unfinished Is the sweetest and richest and best–
So rest and relax and grow stronger, Let go and let God share your load, Your work is not finished or ended, You’ve just come to “a bend in the road”. ~ Helen Steiner Rice ~

I am so blessed to know that God edified you through a post on my blog. I find that I am blessed that way many times through reading other blogs that glorify Him, and there are a lot of them here at WordPress as well as other blogsites. God has good things planned for your next chapter. Check out Elizabeth Prata’s story of such a transition and the blessings it brought over at “The Quiet Life” http://elizabethprata.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the reminder that God takes care of His children. I am retiring May 25 after teaching over 20 years at the elementary school level. I started teaching full time after my children were older. There is always a lot to do at the end of the school year, but this year is different. Although I may still be involved in our district schools, I won’t be a full time teacher. Normal “end of the year” stuff + a new chapter in my life = lots of stresses! I must lean on my Heavenly Father and trust that he will provide the energy to finish this school year, and wait on the Lord for my next “calling.”
Blessings, Lin
