The Terrifying Future of the U.S. verses the Terrifying future of eternity in hell

Some Christian Blogs which focus on end-time events, are loath to further disseminate information such as the video below, as “over-sensationalistic”.  I, on the other hand, do not feel it is “beneath” the Christian watchman, to draw attention to even the most outrageous of claims and so-called “conspiracy theories” because what better way to point out the fact that “status quo”, and “normal” are fast becoming extinct concepts.  This fact itself constitutes a paradigm shift.

What I haven’t always been that great about, since this blog is aimed at other “awake” individuals or at least those interested in waking up, is explaining why these types of videos and articles do appear on my blog.  So I want to make it clear.

Do I believe that the United States Government is developing into a totalitarian regime?  Yes, I do.  Do I believe that is a part of a much larger global conspiracy to consolidate power (U.N. style?), Yes again!  But the factor that I and many other Christian bloggers sometimes fail to clearly point out, is that the conspiracy is not about a small group of elite “trillionaires” who have basically run the planet via the Freemason/ Skull and Bones/Jesuit/Bohemian Grove/Illuminati/Bilderberg system, it’s that there is a much more powerful entity which stands behind those groups.  The Bible refers to it as “principalities and powers”: that is, Satan himself, and the 1/3 of the angels which were cast out of heaven due to Satan’s covetous ambitions of overthrowing God and taking God’s throne for his own.

That is where “free will” often leads.  Rebellion against God’s established and immutable order.  So when we talk about the “New World Order”, we are talking about something that will succeed up to a point, to prove the depths of evil in the hearts of men, and then God will intervene and draw the line on satanic and humanistic ambitions just as He did with Satan in heaven.

That day for mankind is coming, and frankly that is what this blog has really come to be about.  I don’t share this video for the same reasons for which the maker of the video created it.  He is sending out a battle cry that Americans need to stand up, and take on these government powers, rein them in, and cut them back down to size.

There is only one problem with that idea.  A great many of Americans do not possess the “weapons” necessary to fight this battle.  All the guns and ammunition in the world are not going to solve this.  Think about the latest “supernatural thriller” type movie you saw or at least saw a trailer for.  Do bullets kill ghosts?  Do bullets have any effect on demons?  It’s almost funny when you think of the fact that most of the Hollywood movies of this type, being inspired by these very spirits, almost taunt the audience with that fact; “You are powerless against us”.  And the oblivious movie-goer leaves the theatre feeling glad that the movie was only make-believe.  And yet there is a lingering sense of a prickling at the back of the neck, at such a degree of vulnerability for us humans to contemplate.  The appeal of any good horror story, is in the slight chance there might be some truth to it!

Thing is, there is camouflaged truth in that depiction.  The Bible says,

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

To Christians it also says:

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

The answer to the problems presented in this video, are not to be found in human ingenuity, patriotism, government overthrow, or civil war.  They can only be found, obtained, and secured in turning to Almighty God!

So if you are living a life un-reconciled with your Creator, then yes, you have much to fear and can never hope to gain victory over the enemy depicted in this video.  First off, you won’t even recognize who the real enemy is, therefore you don’t stand a chance.  Secondly, if you could recognize the true enemy, without God you are powerless against this enemy.  America doesn’t need to “turn back to God” so that the nation can be “saved”, you, individually, we all need to turn to God so that WE individually might be saved.  Because without those who are obedient to God, forget just America, but this entire world is doomed.  You have to “get that”.  For all your believing that God is “irrelevant”, doesn’t actually make Him so.  That’s like the two-year-old who mistakenly thinks that if he puts his blankie over his head, or merely closes his eyes, you can no longer see him (because he can no longer see you)!  Just because you don’t believe there is a Sovereign God with every right to judge you, does not make you, and your evil works, invisible to Him.

Think about it!

As for Christians, especially those who have fallen into the “Prepper” trap, who say they believe the Word, but are also hedging their bets;  here is a review of some basics.  Go back and read  from Ephesians 6:10-18, and then read the message below from good “old time preacher” Adrian Rogers:

The Weapons Of Christian Warfare

taken from a message given by Adrian Rogers (Love Worth Finding ministry)

BiblePeople are continually discussing what is happening in this country, the Middle East, and in every corner of the globe. What many may not realize is that we are already at war, an invisible and unseen war between light and darkness, good and evil. And Satan is our adversary.

In Ephesians 6:10-17a, we learn about the defensive weapons of our warfare – the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace and the helmet of salvation. These pieces of armor are to defend us from Satan’s fiery arsenal. But, we also need offensive weapons to defeat the enemy – the sword of the Spirit – the Word of God and the prayer of the Spirit.

The Sharpness of your Sword
“The Word Of God”

Hebrews 4:12 teaches: “For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The trouble with many of us is that we are not using the one weapon that God has given us to grant us a sure victory. Many of us study the Bible, but it’s not enough just to study the Bible, we must learn how to employ it.

Years ago, when young men went into the service, the military issued them an M1 rifle. They were taught how to take it apart and reassemble it. But they had to do more than just learn about their weapon; they had to learn to use it. The Word of God is a sword and it is meant to be used.

How do we use this sword? Let’s look at how our Lord Jesus Christ used the Word when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness after forty days and nights of fasting (see Luke 4:1-13).

First, Satan tempted Jesus with the lust of the flesh (“command that these stones be made bread”), then the lust of the eyes (“if Thou therefore will worship me, all shall be Thine”), and finally the pride of life (“if Thou be the Son of God, cast Thyself down from [the pinnacle of the temple]”).

How did Jesus deal with the devil? He took the sword of the Word of God – that sharp two-edged sword and ran Satan through. Jesus said, “It is written, it is written, it is written…” Jesus overcame every temptation by one weapon – the Word of God.

The Word of God is all-powerful. Satan fears the Word of God. He knows its overcoming power.

The Source of Your Supply
“Prayer”

Some Christians fail to understand that prayer is the second offensive weapon in our warfare. They get all dressed up in their armor, pick up their sword, and think they are ready to fight. But Ephesians 6:18 tells us that there’s one more weapon – prayer: “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

A soldier needs to stay in contact with headquarters and have at his disposal a constant source of supply. Without a constant source of supply and a system of communications, a soldier is destined for defeat. Thank God we have the Holy Spirit who gives us constant communication with our Commander-in-Chief.

Before we go to the battlefield, we must get on our knees. The battle is not won in the pulpit or in the Sunday school class. The battle is won in the prayer closet. Prayer is warfare.

You probably have never thought of yourself as a soldier. But, when you are sitting in your bedroom or in your den, you can wage a mighty battle of intercessory prayer. Isn’t it wonderful that those who are sick or shut-in, on a hospital bed or in a wheelchair can fight because they can pray? What an awesome weapon is prayer!

I challenge you today to take the mighty weapons God has given you and get into the battle! Begin today to offer lingering, loving, laboring prayer on behalf of others. for when you use the weapons of the Word of God and prayer.

John 15:7 says, “If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” You can have the victory you long for, when you use the weapons of the Word of God and prayer.

—————

This is addressed to Americans, but really, could be applied to most nations right now, as all seem to be in turmoil.  Protests have their place.  Uprisings and civil wars might be necessary at times, and certainly evil men must be contended with, but what we are facing in this country today, and in the world, is not going to be solved by these means.  The dissolution of our nation is not what is at stake here.  What is at stake is much greater and the dire straits our nation is in right now, as disturbing as they are, they are nothing but the tip of the iceberg.  There is a much worse fate to be avoided, than falling into the hands of rogue human governmental powers, and that is falling into the hands of a God able to condemn you to everlasting hell.  Kingdoms and empires fall. Kings and Presidents die.  God is eternal and you will never bypass, detour around, avoid in any way, the fact that He is God.  His Word stands.  Period!  Your belief or lack thereof is irrelevant to that fact, however it is exceedingly relevant to your eternal future.
