Ezekiel 39:2 Gog is Russia, the Northernmost nation above Israel.

Ezekiel 38:5 Persia is Iran.

Cush/Ethiopia is the Sudan.  Sudan is deeply anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, Radial Sunni-Muslim, and closely allied with Russia.

Put is Libya

Gomer is Turkey

Babylon/Shinar/Mesopotamia, is Iraq

This end-times alliance is coming briskly together as this is written.  The Muslim Brotherhood and Turkey, are making nice with Iran and Hezbollah, while Egypt and Saudi Arabia remain apart from this group, and are strengthening their own alliance, and the UAE and Israel are getting chummy.

Egypt is not in the alliance of nations that come against Israel in the Gog/Magog battle.

The War in Syria has seen Iran, Hezbollah, Iraq and Assad’s Regime pitted against the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood and Turkey.  But right now the two sides are so nearly matched that (what with all the outside help to both sides), it’s pretty much stalled in a draw at the moment.  Assad, of course, is Iran’s greatest ally, while the Muslim Brotherhood in Turkey wants to see Assad overthrown.  And yet suddenly the two sides are looking to work things out together to form an “Axis of Resistance”.

The UAE has enjoyed trade benefits in their relationship with Turkey, but at this time Iran is lobbying to assume that trade position with Turkey, while Turkey would like to enjoy better deals with Iran on natural gas.  Mutually beneficial.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu is strengthening ties with the UAE, and while the U.S. is sidling up to Iran and alienating Egypt, the UAE, and of course, Israel, are strengthening their ties with one another and with Egypt.  The Saudi’s are trying to convince Russia to withdraw support from Assad, by dangling a secret trade deal for oil out to Putin, and continuing to heavily court China for increasing oil trade.

We know that when the last days alliance moves against Israel, they will be interested in taking a spoil.  That is the “hook in the jaw”.  Russia has long-desired to regain it’s position as a world super-power, and as the U.S. declines, Russia has seen some advancement in those aspirations, but their greed will be their downfall.

Did you follow all of that?  The bottom line is that the alignment that is in place now is the same as that which the Bible tells us will be in place for the Gog/Magog battle.

Whenever this particular conflict takes place, Israel will face this formidable alliance alone among the nations.  But the Bible tells us that in the day that Gog comes against Israel, God’s own fury will mount up against the enemies, and a great earthquake will shake the entire globe, and all men will shake at His presence.  This event of God’s shaking, will be so momentous, the enemy forces will become disoriented and begin fighting amongst themselves, pestilence (disease) will break out among them, and God will rain fire and hail and brimstone down on Israel’s attackers.  Russia will experience fire from heaven. (And they thought the one meteor was bad last year that did all that damage!)  Israel will be helpless in the face of the forces coming against her.  They won’t have started this conflict, and they won’t be able to defend themselves in it.  But God will glorify Himself!  The scriptures also tell us that it will require seven months for Israel to bury all those who died in this supernatural slaughter of Israel’s enemies!

Where is the U.S. in all of this?  We have lost Israel’s trust, we have lost the U.A.E. as an ally, and Egypt hasn’t been happy with us since Obama cut their military aid.  President Obama has had every opportunity to put up roadblocks and to halt Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons, but much of the chatter in alternative news sits, indicates that not only is Obama dragging his feet on purpose, but that he secretly lifted sanctions months ago.It is clear Tehran loses no sleep over whether they’ll achieve their goal.     The pressure is on for “peace and safety”, as Kerry and Obama have every intention of keeping their April deadline for establishing consensus in the Israel/Palestine conflict.  As you know, the Blood Moon Tetrads, which have historically coincided with major events in the life of the Nation of Israel, are on God’s calendar for that mid-April time period as well.  Signs in the heavens are there for God’s people to know the times and the seasons.   By the way, the radical Sunni Muslims in the UAE believe their Mahdi is coming soon and will reign for seven years, and Isa (whom they believe is Jesus Christ) will help Mahdi rid the world of a false Messiah.

Meanwhile, here in the U.S. on tomorrow, there is some speculation that a large military drill involving foreign troops, will take place.  Something big in Hawaii, with Communist Chinese troops, on the day the Governor plans to sign gay marriage into law, despite a majority of the people being against it, but also tomorrow is that “test” of the grid system.

Each day and each such event that takes place, moves the world that much closer to chaos, but the Holy Spirit’s restraining presence is the force which is standing between the “status quo” and all-out mayhem which will eventually ensue.  The longer things “hold” the more I hear trusted prophecy-watchers and commentators make statements along the lines of “it all seems to be waiting on one thing, and we have to conclude that’s the rapture”.  More of them are convinced, as I have been for a while, that there is no other explanation as to why things continue to run relatively in a “business as usual” manner at present.  All that is straining to “break loose” will do so the instant the Bride is snatched away out of this world.
