Gun sales started going through the roof as soon as Obama won the election, and despite so much effort to curb gun rights, the truth is, the trend is still moving into a more “pro-gun-ownership” direction. I think probably because people who didn’t recognize the dangers of Obama early on, are recognizing them now. Ben Stein wrote a moving article in which he recounts a disturbing conversation with a white friend, and points out (much like Benjamin Watson) that the answer to the racial hatred really is a spiritual one. He titled his article “A Very Scary Situation” and I agree. This continual holding of grudges that in many cases are in regards to things not even directly involving the grudge-holder personally, is creating a very volatile atmosphere in America. Why are people looking for a reason to hate? And people on all sides (and there are many) are getting angrier and more fed-up all the time. There always have been, and always will be, the hot-heads, that react viscerally and physically, without much, if any, thoughtful consideration of facts nor of consequences. There are also those who take a bit too much of an “it’s not my problem” attitude. Humanistic value systems are devoid of the issue of sanctity of life, or any basis for right and wrong, and so many operate now without benefit of any moral compass whatsoever. This is what comes to a society that chooses not to retain God in their knowledge, and who refuses to bow to His immutable laws and principles. The consequences as well as the laws, remain, unchanged by society’s rebellion to them. Just like denying gravity will not stop the damage that occurs when one jumps off a skyscraper, denying spiritual principles does not free us from the consequences of doing so.
I wish that more people could understand this, but when someone refuses to acknowledge the truth, consistently and undeterred, that person will eventually lose their “sight” in regard to truth, and will be unable to recognize it, no matter how plainly it presents itself.
I was reading a J-Post story this morning: “Is Obama Secretly Working to replace Netanyahu?” I gotta tell ya, it boggles my mind that Livni and Lapid can’t see the dangers that Netanyahu sees in the concessions the international community is asking of Israel. But I guess political ambition is another thing that blinds people to the truth, and it just goes to show that they put their own desire for office above the welfare of the nation of Israel. That sounds pretty familiar to Americans. And I frankly have to say that in my own opinion, this sort of self-serving mentality eventually backfires, but unfortunately it is only after much damage is done.
In fact, I think that is the case with the race-baiting here in America. Though the usual numbers can be counted on to jump into the fray along racial lines, I am seeing more voices of reason speaking up from both sides. Herman Cain says he is “Sick and Tired of the Race Card”. James Manning had some pretty strong words about the issue back three years ago in his video “White People Are Getting Fed Up” But I think that a lot of black people are getting even more fed up and disgusted with the petty race-bating and race-manipulating. I think those who are always trying to preserve the racial divide, have quite simply overplayed their hand this time. They have gone too far. Unfortunately, that is only one problem in a massive boatload of problems America is dealing with.
So if the answer is a spiritual one, and more and more people seem to be admitting that it is, then that’s a good thing, right? Well, not so fast! Though it is true more and more people are taking interest in spiritual things, the sad truth is, there is little or no discernment as to what “spirit” folks are getting themselves involved with. There is a misconception that most people believe, which is that Christianity is represented by the Catholic Church and the Pope. Many years ago, the Catholic church did exert widespread power and influence in the world but the Catholic church has never spoken for or represented the true Christ or His true disciples. The Bible tells us that the spirit of Rome remains alive and well, and will come to prominence again in the last days. Since we know that a False Messiah will come and a spiritual leader of great influence will pave the way, the new popularity of spirituality would have to have come first. Big mega-ministries that have long abandoned scripture truth, if ever they were acquainted with it, are facilitating the influence of Rome upon the evangelical church by their embrace of Pope Francis.
America is unraveling fast. The influx and mass subsidization of illegals , the influx of Muslim refugees, will change the very fabric of this nation. The current load on the backs of working taxpayers, is unsustainable. Russia is pushing the envelope, China is pushing the envelope, Iran is really pushing the envelope, in terms of aggression and defiance. Another world war is in the offing, and everyone knows it. Judge for yourself.
The following headline /link is from the blog of Joseph Wouk, the son of Herman Wouk who wrote the novel Winds of War. I have been following his blog several years, and he once supported Obama, but seems to have learned the truth about him now. It is too bad there are still those in the Israeli government who still don’t get it.

Lots of great points in here. I would more or less agree with all them, aside from the idea that the State of Israel/Netanyahu is actually in any way truly opposed to or separated from the same powers behind the scenes which are causing all the chaos, racial division, and collapse of America. I was raised in a Christian home which firmly believed in idea that the Church must “support Israel”, and it wasn’t until I was far into adulthood, and researching all the things going on in the world prophetically with more open eyes and heart, that I began to see that the people working feverishly to set the stage for the anti-Christ are just as much embedded in the political and economic structures of the state of Israel as they are everywhere else. I “support Israel” in the sense that yes, I DO long to see the Jewish people come to faith in the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, but that is something that is completely unattached to any sort of earthly “support” involving military or economic alliances. So many Christians in America are quite myopic when it comes to understanding the role of Israel in all of this, even though it is of course quite central to everything unfolding…

Oh yeah, no doubt you are probably correct on that score. It’s not that I have Israel on a pedestal, knowing that the forces of the spiritual realm that are in rebellion against God, have their agents there as in every government and “principality”. I guess even as I speak of the blindness due to rejection of God and truth here, I don’t have benefit of as thorough a knowledge of the political arena of Israel, though I probably have more knowledge of the issues and parties and leaders over there than most average Americans, so I hesitate to delve too deep into the speculation on that. It goes without saying that Israel as a nation has it’s own spiritual issues, which is what the “seventieth week” period will be primarily about dealing with. As a nation they will become central to the world stage again in the near future, more so than they are even now.
