The thing about losing someone you love in death, is that you think you’ve done really good about getting through the “losing them” part, only to find out that the “their not being there anymore” part just goes on and an and on. I am so thankful that I know where Dad is, and that some day I will be there too.

I remembered it was your dad’s birthday because it is also mine today. Real handsome guy! He was a year older than me! Now your dad is celebrating his life in heaven with the Lord, & the other saints & friends! You will soon meet him in heaven, when the glorious appearing of our Lord & Savior will return for us believers in the Rapture! Jesus said ‘Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every every man according as his work shall be’ Re22:14. You serve Him in the waiting! God will richly bless you beyond measure- ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord’ Mt25:21.
