The fall of America, the Fall of Babylon

You know, folks, it couldn’t be any plainer that this world is about to undergo a massive and catastrophic shift for the worse.  I commented in an exchange with a reader recently on how I started to write a post on just how much delusion has become epidemic in people at this time, but it would be a definite case of preaching to the choir, because the ones who are paying attention, know this, and the ones who are delusional will just assume I am referring to someone else.

It would be enough to make a person physically sick, and certainly mentally and emotionally distraught, if not for the fact the scriptures warned us of these exact circumstances.  I noted that in Terry James’ Op-Ed for this week on Rapture Ready’s Nearing Midnight feature, he addresses the topic of Babylon the Great, and states it may be time to reconsider the possibility that the Babylon of Revelation 18, may indeed be America. That is one topic in prophecy that I have not been able to settle in my own mind, as well.  The assertion that it is the physical Babylon definitely doesn’t seem likely.  And Mr. James is certainly correct that with everything else seemingly lined up for the final curtain call, the destruction of a great financial and merchant center, a haven for all religion, a city of all nations, none of that is true of physical Babylon, and yet, America, and New York specifically, that’s more likely.

Isaiah 13:19-22 indicates clearly that literal Babylon will never be inhabited again anyway.

I think that the article that I re-blogged this morning about the Federal Reserve looking to move to Chicago, might be yet one more indicator that America, and particularly New York, may indeed Babylon the Great and heading for that fall.  Does our government know of some coming attack that will decimate Wall Street? Why have major national security operations been moved back to the remote location in Wyoming, a location not used since the cold war? Terrorists are promising an attack greater than 9/11. Obama’s giving this nation up on a silver platter.

What does the Bible tell us about Babylon the Great?

  • A great city that reigneth over the kings of the Earth.  Rev. 17:18

(Where does the U.N. meet?)

  • A place wherein the nations of the world “flow together into”. Jeremiah 51:44

(Bring me your poor, your tiered, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,  The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,  Send these, the homeless, tempest tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door)

  • With whom kings of the earth have committed fornication, and been made drunk from the wine of her fornication. Rev. 17:2

(America founded on the principle of religious liberty,  the foremost nation for freedom to worship any god, practice any religion, without fear of persecution-in the Bible fornication is frequently used as a term for idolatry and worship of false gods).

  • Is called the “Lady or Queen of Kingdoms” Isaiah 47:5

(Has America not been the world superpower, the world “police” for as long as we can recall? Is America not represented most often by that statue on Staten Island? Who, by the way, is Ishtar, the Babylonian goddess of Liberty and Freedom)

  • Exporter of goods to merchants all over the Earth. Rev. 18:11-22

(U.S. census information for 2014 indicates that over half of our nations exports leave via New York Harbors, and 39 percent of the imports. The largest center of import/export in the world)

  • By her sorceries are all nations deceived. Rev. 18:23

(It wouldn’t be a stretch to refer to the U.S. manipulation of the petrodollar, which drives world wealth and the world economy “sorceries that have deceived all nations”. Consider Wall Street, the NYSE, NASDAQ, traders in commodities, the banking centers, and the NYC headquarters of major industries and corporations whose operations are scattered not only through the U.S., but all over the world. The global “one world” economy of the future, depends upon the collapse of the U.S. dollar and US. economy. And how will the rest of the world panic and mourn if they see it take place?)

  • The nations of the Earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.  Rev. 18:3

(When corporations think of advertising, of the best of the best for selling their product, the name “Madison Avenue” is practically synonymous with the concept of selling.  The entire world not only followed the fads and trends of the U.S. for their products, but even as America was the prime example for success in business, they led the way as pioneers for advertising techniques that tug at the heart strings, appeal to the emotions and pride, and of the “baser urges”– the number one exporter of the p_rn industry is the U.S.)

  • And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; Rev. 18:22

We know that famine is going to be a major part of the tribulation, and considering the fact that America exports over half of the wheat grown here, and is second only to China in the volume of wheat produced, the world would be in dire straits if the millstone were no more heard here.  As far as the craftsmen in America, well, under Clinton, The Bushes, and Obama, craftsmen, who are generally small independent family-owned businesses, craftsmen are not exactly thriving here even now, but even before that, the industrial revolution, the advent of computerized and robotic labor replacing the human laborers, the need for skilled craftsmen has been long fading away.

How about harpers, musicians, pipers and trumpeters?

Well, like many of the other characteristics of the “Great Harlot”,  the consumerism, the decadence, the debauchery, New York is certainly known as party headquarters for it’s infamous “night life” (city that never sleeps).  But even in terms of the music industry, as of 2011, 76% of the global market share of the entire music industry was controlled by U.S.-based music companies.  But another way of looking at the “no more harpers, pipers, and trumpeters” those particular instruments are the “stuff” of what I call real music: Orchestral, melodic, classical, music of beauty, as opposed to the clashing, crashing, thumping, noise and discordant screeching and chanting that passes for music in America today.  I think it is safe to say that Rap and Hip-Hop, and Rock are all purely American-born.

  • Babylon dwells upon many waters, is abundant in treasures (Jer. 51:13)
  • She is proud against the Lord, the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 50:29)

Kicked God out of the schools, and government, and now any public arena, as well as our nation having finally also turned against Israel, and therefore, the Holy One of Israel.

I think that there is a spirit of Babylon, but the scriptures clearly speak of a city that will fall. There has long been a belief that Mystery Babylon is Rome, specifically the religious system of Rome. Roman Catholic power at one time did have this influence over the world much like America holds now. I don’t think it is an either/or proposition, myself.

The Pope will address America in September via the same platform that Benjamin Netanyahu did just a few weeks ago.  He’s not coming to speak to Congress, he, like Netanyahu, will stand in that place and address the world, about peace, social justice, mutual respect between the world’s religions.

Are you seeing the convergence?

E Pluribus Unum ⇒Out of many, One.

Novus Ordo Seclorum ⇒ New Order of the Ages starting with the total “transformation” right here in America.

We all would like to continue believing this nation was once a “Christian” nation, but at the very least, it seems undeniable that underlying or at least parallel to the Christian foundations in our nations history, there indeed were some less noble aspirations and influences, call it Illuminati, or Freemasonry, or whatever you will.  For instance, did you know that the Skull and Bones secret society has a ritual whereby they are considered to be “born again”?  Not as in Christianity, but in themselves via practices and rituals straight out of Satanism.  George Bush was asked when he was running for president, whether he was a Christian.  His answer was, “if you mean born again, then yes, I have been born again”.  Ah.  How convenient that the ritual goes by such a name?  Coincidence?  Hardly!

I don’t know, folks, it’s like we have all the puzzle pieces on the perimeter in place, we’ve got a lot of the middle ones coming together in sections, but pretty soon, it’s all going to come clear, at about the same instant that it all breaks loose.

Can’t say it any clearer or louder.  Time is almost up.  Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

  1. I agree the end time babylon is indeed
America, but revelation 17 is spiritual babylon which can be none other than pagan Roman Catholicism. Roman Catholics murdered millions of Born again Christians and every national leader bows and kisses the popes
    Signet ring.

    • Right, that’s my point, the two are not mutually exclusive. I think America-as-Babylon doesn’t just stand for America itself, either, but the political/economic system of which America has been the leader for centuries, and which has driven and anchored world economy even while there were different currencies. Think Jenga or a game of Pick-up-sticks. Pulling just that particular one, will cause chaos in every nation, requiring the advent of a single global currency to “correct” what has already been a global economy for a long time, only it was functioning with a lot of “conversion and finagling” affording the U.S. a singular advantage over the years since we dropped the “gold standard”. The same money-printing advantage will still exist in the new system, but will then be in the hands of the global elites, as world powers scurry to establish trade zones and set up powers in an attempt to restore order globally.

  2. Reblogged this on oogenhand and commented:
Often several Bible interpretations aren’t mutually exclusive. Is there really a difference between Saudi-Arabia and USA when it comes to foreign policy?

    • I agree with you about the differing interpretations, I always think that when it is all said and done, we’ll find out that each of many viewpoints was partially right and partially not. Good points!
