Good. Next they need to lift the ban on service men and women being armed on post. Stupidest move ever, disarming our “armed” forces.
The U.S. Navy will begin posting armed guards at reserve centers with public access in the wake of an attack that killed four Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga, Tenn., last month, the service said Friday.
The guards will be posted at Navy Reserve centers that are not on military installations, such as the one attacked in Chattanooga. The decision comes in the wake of a Pentagon order to the military services to examine ways to enhance security.
Yes. Because why trust our trained men and women of our armed services to defend themselves with the guns they trained with and used overseas?
Well, at least this is something. As long as they can keep guards alert.
