As we persevere in this world, where we are no longer welcome, we are to be aware of the evil that surrounds us, help us remember to think on what is good, in order to have peace.
Some cheat. They ignore the evil, pretend it is not happening. But the victims of evil deserve for others to know, to be witnesses.
Women and children are being abducted, disappearing into slavery. From “child protective services” and foster care, children are disappearing, right here in America, also in Britain, likely many other places.
Police departments are not immune to corruption. Local, state, and national government.
President Trump spoke of how beautiful the beaches are in North Korea, “perfect place for condos”. It was a rather Marie-Antoinette, let them eat cake, surreal thing to say.
It is a very messed up world. I pray the Lord give courage and discernment to His people. That we would always know we are in the camp of Almighty God, and He has already defeated the enemy. But also that our desire would be to rescue others from the corrupt power Satan has over the lost, he is the example the human traffickers follow, the corrupt judges, and all corrupt people in positions of power follow.
Jesus did not pray for us to be taken from this evil world, from the beginning of this age of grace, but that we be kept from the evil one. That is the prayer I pray for our young adult sons, and for their generation, for all of us, until the day God judges.
We can never comprehend the reasoning of God. It is hard to understand His permitting many atrocities, but He will destroy evil itself.
God help your people, those that have the task ok seeing, of witnessing the injustices, and those who are fighting back against them.
We know You are exposing deeds kept so long in darkness. We pray and yearn for Your Kingdom to be established here, when Christ will reign in perfect holiness.
Give us strength to stand. Open our eyes to see the help you provide, armies of angels, and Your own Holy Spirit, remembering that if You be for us, who can be against us?
We are so grateful to know that there is One whom perfect power cannot corrupt. And we worship You, Almighty God.
Come, Lord Jesus.
In the cacophany of noise, the clamor of incessant voices, the rumble of volcanos, the floods of waters, the groaning of the Earth.
Creation knows. If we don’t praise Him, the rocks will cry out.
How long, oh Lord?
Oh Lord, to whom vengeance belongs. Show Yourself, lift up yourself, you judge of the earth, render a reward to the proud. How long, oh Lord, shall the wicked triumph? How long shall they utter and speak arrogantly, and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? They break in pieces your people, Lord, and afflict Your heritage. They slay the widow and the fatherless, yet thy say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
Hear our cry, O Lord, from the end of the earth will we cry to You, when our hearts are overwhelmed, lead us to the rock that is higher than ourselves. For You are our shelter and strong tower from the enemy.
Your will be done. Your righteousness prevail over all the earth!
How majestic is Your name in all the earth.
In sorrow, You are worthy of our praise. In sickness You are worthy of our worship. All is yours to give, and yours to take away again. There is nothing we have that did not come from You.
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon you.
We shall fear no evil, because You have promised never to forsake us, and greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.
