If you are a Christian, you are living in amazing times. The panic all across the world right now is out of proportion to the present danger, but this development is significant in many ways.
One way is the way the world is reacting. We live in an age of “just-in-time” ordering of retail stock. No huge warehouse at the back of the store with extras. We are so busy, we also often follow a just-in-time method of stocking our own pantries.
There are some preppers who have stockpiled crazy amounts of everything, and many who can hardly even afford to eat today, much less stockpile for later
This was declared a pandemic really early. The globalists have to test the populace for readiness for their ultimate power grab. This should not surprise Bible believers.
But regardless of your personal convictions on the Tribulation and the catching away, timing, etc. God will never forsake you. Don’t be afraid.if this all blows over quickly, and if you can, it is wise to at least prepare as you would for a tornado or blizzard. Do it early, a little at a time, however you can manage.
But this virus is not going to go away, and more things like this will be happening. This is going to strain the healthcare system. It may lead to postponement of elective procedures. Even retired healthcare workers are being called back into the workforce in Italy. America is more prepared than most countries, but that could change.
Try to focus on what you have, your blessings, and endure as best you can without letting anxiety rule you. Prayer is the antidote to fear. That said, grocery stores are running out of certain things everywhere. This is a panic response that only makes things worse. Canned goods, canned meat, canned tuna, and chicken, ravioli, batteries, just wiped out in many places.
Panic tends to multiply. Be careful that you don’t start feeding on the fear. In the internet age, false info can go clear around the world in moments. Even the CDC can get things wrong.
Check on elderly neighbors who can’t get out to stock up and live on fixed income. Families are scattered and many can’t help their own, but you can help someone else’s mom, dad, grandparents.
Pray for our nation, world, leaders and each other. If you are unsaved, reading this, it is a good time to reconsider the gospel. Admit you are a sinner, there is a God who created you, and He is holy, you cannot meet His standard on your own. Believe what His Bible says, that Jesus died to atone for your sins, and if you believe, and confess Him as your savior, by faith, trough grace that He supplies, then you will be saved. Not by works. The thief on the cross did not have time to add works to his faith, but Jesus said he would be with Him in paradise that very day.
No one can deny the world is changing. No one can deny it gets less orderly and more chaotic every day. You can see it and you can feel it in your own soul and spirit. Call upon the name of the Lord in faith while there is still time, because there is a deadline. We don’t know when, but it will be sudden. Once the tribulation starts, if you are here, you might change your thinking, but you will still go through the tribulation, it will be too late if you reject Him now. He wants to save you. He does not want you to go through the tribulation. Many who call themselves Christian will find out they aren’t actually saved, because they thought they could get to heaven on their own merit. It is the blood of Jesus, just like the Passover lamb’s blood on the door posts, that is the only righteousness that qualifies you for escape of the wrath to come. Scripture tells us we should pray to be found worthy to escape it. If you prayed a prayer, but nothing changed about how you live, if there was no conviction of your own sinfulness, if you “accepted Christ” so your life would be awesome, and you thought He wanted you to believe so you can be prosperous and only experience health, wealth, and prosperity, you might find yourself being one of those to whom He says, “depart from me, I never knew you”.
I once watched a young man from our church hand a tract to a lady, and she handed it back and said, ” save that to give to somebody that needs it, I been married to a preacher for 60 years”. Well. I couldn’t place her at first, but realized later who she was and to what preacher she was married. God alone knows a heart, but if her pride and his preaching are any indication, well, it left me feeling sad. He is a preacher who has never preached the gospel, and is a Mason of high degree. I never knew what was wrong with the Masons until I met a former one who left Freemasonry when he heard the gospel and believed it. He then began his work of informing other Christians about the underlying occult that is at the root of it, while lower level members are kept in the dark, and believe it to be a means of charity and good citizenship. Many pastors are Freemasons. Some in ignorance, others knowingly duel agents to both “church” and Lucifer.
It is not always pleasant to see the truth about things, even harder to accept the truth about many things. If you decide to warn others, you will pay a price. One way or the other. And many may mock. But God is not mocked. He will have the last word, and those you warned will discover truth when it is too late, but their blood will not be on your hands if you tried to warn them. There were people I have encountered in my life that I could have warned, but it can taje some time to understand our job is not convincing, we don’t need to feel that we have to get through. The gospel has its own power, and we just have to give it to them. If you aren’t a talker, or aren’t confident, you can hand a person a tract, stick one in your bill with the check when you pay, leave one in your library book when you return it, tuck it into the signage at the gas pump. You can support a missionary with your prayers. Every member of the body is not a mouth. If you are a person who wants to see people saved, and happen to go to a church that insists the Great Commision demands you to personally go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15), I suggest you read Colossians 1:23, and also ask yourself who Jesus was speaking to in Mark 16:15. If you have a friend, loved one, or family member you want to see saved, but are scared you will fumble, or think you have to have a lot of stuff memorized to do so, you don’t have to worry about those things. I have given tje gospel more times in a hand written letter or note than verbally. Knocking on doors is rarely well received where I live!
A Admit you are a sinner in need of saving before you face your Creator on judgment day.
B Believe by faith, the gift God offers of redemption by Christ’s death, whereby He took our punishment, and provided us with His own righteousness.
C Confess Him as your Savior to a witness. Any witness. Jesus said if we confess Him before men, He will confess us before His Father. That means to claim you as one of His.
