For any Christian battling fear and confusion about what is happening in our world right now

I understand. These are perilous times, and God did not warn us so that we would be fearful.

He said to pray that we be found worthy to escape the things coming upon the Earth. Worthiness is not earned. The blood of Jesus, applied to your sin, is the worthiness He speaks of in that passage.

Don’t put faith in self

Don’t put faith in your faith.

Put your trust in God. God is not the author of confusion, nor has He given us a spirit of fear, but of love and a sound mind.

Don’t give credence to your feelings. It is possible to “feel” terrified that your bloodwork shows cancer, and it comes back normal.

It’s possible to have cancer and dread the pain and fear death, only to discover God filling you with peace that is not “logical”.

It is not about how much faith you have. It is about having any at all and where you place it.

God is in control, whether there are bad Governors, judges, and police who are evil, God is keeping track as they store up wrath against themselves.

God is in control, whether Nephilum are here, or space aliens are coming. God is sovereign in the midst of all the deception. God will not, cannot be overcome as Lucifer thinks he can do. God is your navigational star, and His Word is your map, and the Holy Spirit is your internal compass.

If you are scared because you don’t know prophecy, open your Bible and ask God to teach you what you need to understand, and dive in. Or, just trust Him. Either choice will be pleasing to Him.

It is not possible to worry and trust at once. You must choose. It’s like a muscle, and it’s like a math equation. Use it or lose it. Sometimes that means vigilance. Like learning not to limp or slouch.

Here are some scriptures to reassure you that He is, always has been, and always will be in charge:

  • Gen:15:18
  • Exo 18:11
  • Deut 4:31
  • Josh. 2:11 Remind yourself this is Whom your enemy must contend with.
  • Psa. 93:1 The roaring seas refer to humanity in chaos and clamoring throughout the Bible.
  • Psa 95: 3-5
  • Psa 96:10
  • Dan 6:26
  • Matt 6:10
  • Matt 6:13
  • Matt. 11:25
  • Acts. 17:24-31 Nobody is “getting away with” anything.
  • Rom 14:11 Those who mock you and laugh when you give them truth, will bow to Him and give an account
  • I Tim 6:15
  • Rev. 19:6

-I have a very low opinion of myself and even I think this line of thought is patently absurd. Give yourself more credit; after all you are the one living your life! Jeepers!
