Strafed by enemy fire

The more I try to do the right things, the more I am strafed by enemy fire. It is a challenge to keep that mindset, that flesh and blood are not the enemy, and just expect that trouble will come from the least likely people and places, and not repay in kind when misunderstood and/or misjudged. If we defend ourselves, we get what we get, which is usually more grief, but if we refuse to rise to the bait, God will exonerate publicly.

Living right isn’t easy!

A good article on this subject
