I was writing a reply to a comment on the post I did yesterday and it was getting pretty lengthy, but when I hit “enter” to post it, WordPress returned a message that said “you are not authorized to reply to an unapproved comment”, thing is, I was responding to a subscriber who has commented plenty of times and that is what makes them an approved commenter because it’s set up to alert me of comments by anyone that is commenting for the first time. Once they are approved, they don’t have to be approved again, So I formulated a much more brief comment and when I tried to post that one, it prompted for me to sign in.  I WAS signed in. Weird!  In the past, when I was doing this full-time, when I ran into nonsensical roadblocks and repeated snafus such as that, it was always a confirmation that whatever I was about to post, was probably something someone needed to hear and the enemy wanted to interfere with or prevent, so I just asked the Lord that if He wants me to share my thoughts, prompt my memory in the morning,

So I’m back today to do just that.

I had said that I have always sort of expected that there will be a moment right before the rapture when things look scary and when even the staunchest watch-folk will look around and just for a sec, experience a twinge of “almost-fear”.

I say that because I think a lot of really big things will probably happen in very short order, like over maybe a 24-48 hour period.

I like to contemplate about things the Bible says will happen.  I often imagine what we will experience in the next life, and there’s not a whole lot the Bible tells us, but it’s certainly enough to give your imagination something to work with.  And it helps a lot as an escape from the harsh realities we face all the time.

Anyway here is what I imagined the final couple of days before the rapture might look like:

If one side or the other were to drop a nuke in the Iran conflict,  global markets would panic at the implications, global indices would probably plummet more points than ever in their history, and say, at the same time, a global call goes out to avenge the cause of “Allah”?  In the midst or right on the heels of that, (there’s already been a lot of chatter” about Hantavirus), the next (already predicted) pandemic hits .

Anarchy erupts globally because that’s what the criminal element does at times like that. People are very stressed, many can’t find jobs, families are already living in their cars here in America, and the world has already been wondering what the heck is up with the Americans these days. Already panicked and desperate, how much more desperate would people feel?  An “every man for himself” kind of ethos would immediately take effect.  I imagine rage and fear would become the default disposition of just about everyone.

There’s been how many attempts at Trump so far, what if that was added to the mix?  From what I have read, just like in Butler, there were massive holes in the security plan for that dinner, the assailant merely checked in a day ahead of time, one floor up from the ballroom, and he walked into the midst of the entering attendees strapped with at least 5 weapons.

What if the next one didn’t miss, and shortly after that news crosses the globe,  every cell phone, computer, tablet and tv receives that screechy emergency broadcast signal and a broadcast begins. Up on the screen pops, who? Maybe the Pope, or King Charles, or fill in any global leader.  Behind that person stands the Alien “saviors”. The message? Essentially, “do not fear, we have been watching over you all along, we are your brothers,  this did not come as a surprise to us, and we have already devised contingencies”.

Then they introduce the human “chosen one” the newly appointed world “President” or whatever thy might call him. The Bible calls him “the Man of Sin”.  (That day shall not come except there come a falling-away first, and that Man of Sin be revealed, the Son of Perdition). He won’t enter the world stage as antichrist, why would God give him those two different designations/names? That’s the kind of little thing that often is a clue to dig deeper, and I believe every jot and tittle, every letter and word, is there for a reason.  We won’t see the Antichrist, because he won’t become the Antichrist (Son of Perdition) until the deadly wound and “resurrection”.

In the above fictional sketch, the instant the newly appointed global leader is announced, children, babies, and all redeemed suddenly disappear.  We already know what a convenient explanation they could so easily put forth. Something like “We are about to enter the next evolutional phase, and those who have disappeared simply did not meet the criteria”.

I know books have been written with similar plot lines, but the difference is those all employed fiction due to things like technologies not yet existing, and  other conditions not met.  Right now, today, the surveillance state, the digital economy, the mark, the moral climate, it is all literally ready to go. The commenter reminded me about the upcoming Pride Festival planned in just a couple weeks right adjacent to the area known as Sodom and Gomorrah, that slipped my mind while writing, even after having posted about it not that long ago. (So much happens so fast!!!)  I could definitely see the Lord allowing “disclosure” to move the last few Gentile stragglers into the fold.  Does Amos 3:7 apply here? I don’t know, but I would love to hear from anyone else out there actively watching and “looking for that blessed hope” (Titus 2:13), who have been connecting dots similarly, just as myself and the commenter who prompted this post.  The Holy Spirit often confirms things by impressing thoughts into several minds at once. I can recall several times in a church service when someone stands and gives a spontaneous testimony, and then when the preacher gives his sermon, it is on the very same topic, and every music selection also underlines the same points.

There are folks who have been called to various out-in-front roles with podcasts and YouTube channels and Substacks, etc, and they are able to keep many informed about the relevant developments and facilitate understanding of prophecy, but the remnant, the body itself, no platform, no megaphone, often they have insight they seldom share, and when they do, it is in the comment sections. The body is meant to function together, every part important and having it’s part and place. God will confirm whether “disclosure” is gonna be a catalyst or not. No harm in thinking on it, because the Holy Spirit might be where the thought came from.  Ya’ll let me know your thoughts and/or Biblical insights.
