Up until the Stoning of Stephen, the Jews could have received their Messiah. Acts 7:55 is the only time Jesus is shown as standing at the right hand of the Father, rather than sitting. Was He standing in readiness to come back right then if only the high priest and council, the Jewish religious leaders, would receive the truth of Stephen’s speech and choose to believe? The stoning of Stephen was the turning point, after which God’s program pivoted to the Gentiles, and Saul became Paul- the apostle sent to and for the Gentiles.

I have to wonder if He is standing again right now.

The things sealed up in Daniel, are opening up. Everything is ready. All the major quakes, the Earth groaning. God’s people, groaning, praying “Come, Lord Jesus”.  Israel, the “cup of trembling” without an ally, warring on 7 fronts, with no intention of letting up – the Psalm 83 “ring” surrounding her, who are conspicuously absent from the Ezekiel 38-39 war prophecy.
